This was a money gouging experience. The food was alright but the lady didn't try to help (me) the elderly person. She helped me get the largest, most expensive individual items instead of recommendeding a combo

This is my go to waffle House restaurant when I have a taste for breakfast. Food is always good and the new chicken sausage taste like someone's grandad grilled it on the grill at at cookout 10\10.

My husband ordered a cheeseburger only, I ordered the bacon deluxe meal, only pickle, and a side of chili. The server repeated our order. He came back to tell me that they were out of chili, and I said that was fine. There was a group of customers already waiting for their order. 30 minutes later I watch the other server finally serve her customers food, which is fine, of course. I asked our server if the cook was just starting ours and he replied yes. When we finally got our order, my husband had hash browns, ( they tried to make him pay for them no he didn't eat them). And my burger had onions all over it. I asked the server to take it back, I watched the cook pick off the onions with his fingers. I called the server over and told him to please have the cook cook me a new on, and asked him if he could bring me my hash browns so I could eat them while they were hot. When he brought them he said " With side of chili too right?" I told him that he said that they didn't have any, he said "Oh yeah". I finally got my burger ate and went on our to our car to wait when my husband came out and asked if our bill should have been a little over $20. I said no we went back in to get it fixed. There was a gentleman waiting for his to go order, I looked over as the cook gave him a container wiping off CHILLI! The chilli I was told they were out of!We have been to this waffle house several times and never have we had any complaints but this whole experience was terrible. Will be a long time before we go back.
