I love this place!!! The owner is kind and friendly and really makes you feel welcomed. The Egusi soup is so delicious and light and cooked to perfection every time I order it. I invited a friend who is very familiar with Nigerian cuisine and she states it’s the best egusi soup she’s had apart from homemade. It’s not overpriced either so ordering this amazing food won’t break the bank. Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks 1738 for an awesome dining experience every time.

I’ve been here a few times. The music is great. The vibe is chill with plenty of seating, great spot close to home. Today, I stopped by after work and ordered food and the Suya was seasoned to perfection! I also learned that Tuesdays and Sundays they have line dancing!

My wife and I went to 1738 on a whim and we were pleased. The food was fresh and favorable with good portion sizes, the staff was personable, and the DJ had a good mix of music. We will definitely return to try some more items on the menu.

Just had the most amazing suya and jollof combo at 1738, and I’m still thinking about it! The flavors were authentic, perfectly seasoned, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

What really stood out, though, was the ambience modern, vibrant, and way above your typical African restaurant vibe. The service was top-notch friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, great vibes, and great service, 1738 is definitely the spot. I’m already planning my next visit!

Excellent food, great service, and fantastic ambience. I went with my husband and we ate poundo yam and okra soup, and Jollof rice and suya.
