What a charming experience having a meal at this very downhome restaurant. I saw there were two negative reviews. Obviously those reviewers had no idea what to expect and shouldn't have gone. The experience is more like being invited to a neighbor's home for dinner. I grew up in the south and truly enjoyed the food and the experience. This is home cooking and it was very favorable. And I loved the peach tea which another reviewer couldn't even be bothered to remember...
Food was delicious, and the service was great. The price is unbeatable. Delightful atmosphere. The owner was very sweet and friendly. A very quiet and laid-back experience. Saved the best for last: the sweet peach tea is to die for.
This womderful place will forever be in my memories. The lady that runs it opens momday and friday. It is a set menu… we had peach tea, salad, shrimp and grits with fried fish and a salmon cake and your choice of homemade desserts. She hugs you on the way in and on the way out. What does this cost.. $10 dollars a plate and you lave the cash in a coffee cup. The world needs more humans like this lady!
