Bella Mia Cucina Italiana + Bar

First I'd like to say, we often refer people to Bella Mia (and all sister restaurants) when someone is looking for great authentic and fresh food. However, last night we brought my mom for her birthday and the food was not at the normal level of excellence. Most in our party of six were satisfied, but none were overly impressed. The flatbreads were good, the steak/risotto my husband had was great. My chicken alfredo was inedible...overcooked pasta, bland sauce and I'm not sure what was going on with the chicken but I couldn't even cut it with a knife! It was tough and rubbery and was NOT fresh at all! The waitress tried to be attentive, but was apparently spread pretty thin and didn't hit the mark. I will also say this, we always tip well, but appreciate an opportunity to tip as we see fit based on food/service. We were not given an option as the tip is automatically charged (we all billed separately). Overall disappointed with this visit.

We shared a great bottle of wine with, the Calamari appetizer, Frutti Di Mare and Steak w/ mushroom risotto. Dessert was so fabulous it just vanished, chocolate cake.

The food was seriously excellent. We got the Pappardelle with meatballs and the Shrimp Scampi and they were both so good. Our family is Italian so we are snooty about Italian food and this was the real deal. I just wish the tables were sandwiched so closely together!

There were four of us last evening celebrating 2 January birthdays. The food, staff and service was beyond amazing. The Calamari starter was crisp and very different including sweet pepper slices.
We each had a different entree, Bolognese Lasagna, Arabiatta Sausage pasta, Shrimp Scampi and pappardelle pasta with meatballs. All were absolutely delicious.
Cocktails were really good as the Negroni, Apricot Old Fashioned and Georgia Aperol Spritz started us off to a most memorable dining experience.

By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in. The food is very authentic and beyond compare. My partner and I ordered the mussels with marinara, caprese, Caesar salad and Pappardelle with meatballs and a bottle of their Tuscan Red wine. All absolutely delicious; your palate will sing!! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back.

Born and raised with my Italian grandparents... with grandma making homemade pasta. I can say without a doubt this place was second to my grandmother's pasta, which is huge to say! It's the most amazing find! Just moved here and not a RH fan but thank goodness for Bella Mia!!! Had the shrimp scampi and wow!! Had slices of fresh garlic!
My boyfriend had the chicken parmigiana and it was the best chicken.. huge and moist and perfectly cooked. I'm utterly impressed to be honest. Anyone to give this less than a great rating had zero idea of fresh Italian food.

Great place to dine! Were seated quickly and our orders came out quickly and hot. The food was excellent and portions were large. Took half meal home for dinner tomorrow. Nice quiet place to enjoy a real Italian meal! Highly recommend!!!!

Very high end feeling restaurant with quality ingredients. The pastas were delicious. Apparently made in house daily. Servers were very accommodating to some of our guests weird requests for things not on the menu. The cocktails were well made and the service was timely. Paid for 3 meals and was $155 before tip. Excellent place for a dinner date or special occasion.

Honestly a great place, service was prompt and extremely nice and the food was amazing. I had the pomegranate margarita while my wife had the apricot old fashioned. My wife had the frutti di mare while I had the steak risotto.

The Fruti was extremely good nice flavors a and a good combination of types of seafood. The steak mushroom risotto in my opinion really shined. Very tender and a great cut of meat that paired extremely well with the risotto.

We finished it up with a daily dessert special of a Cannoli cheesecake that was probably one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had at a restaurant.

Great place and worth a try. Definitely recommend a reservation as they are smaller and you can't guarantee availability if you do a walk-in depending on the day.

The food was all very good. Deliciously cooked and seemed very fresh. The drinks were delicious but seemed to have a very small amount of alcohol. The waitresses were very nice and accommodating but they were extremely busy. I think there were only 2 for the whole restaurant so it took a while to get refills on drinks. This was understandable but we were a little put off when we got the check. They automatically added a 22% gratuity. I’m assuming it’s because we had a party of 8 but 22% automatically added seemed a little presumptuous.

I was at the door and an employee waved me in. It was 8:32, but the receptionist told me she couldn't serve me! I only went in because the employee signaled me to come in and when I got there they made me look like an idiot! It's no use if the food is good and the service is terrible! I thought it was simply ridiculous, they lost 3 customers!!!!

Paige & Brittany were literally outstanding. It’s people like this that make experiences worthwhile. My husband and I came here as first timers as we’re new here for my birthday dinner and they literally made the experience all the more amazing! We were seated close to closing time thanks to me being late but they never rushed us and made us feel so welcomed. I just want to express my sincere thanks to these two amazing ladies! Thank youu for such amazing hospitality and customer service!
