This folks, is an authentic Italian Restaurant. The food is every bit as good, if not better, than any of the best in large, cosmopolitan US cities. The food is prepared from scratch, and more importantly, with love. The heart this chef puts into his dishes is obvious in every bite. We have tried a dozen of the dishes, each one is a perfect blend of flavors. Can't even say there is a favorite, each one is spectacular in it's own right. The bread is amazing. And I don't know what the lady was saying about the bruschetta. It is some of the best I have ever had and obviously handmade. AND, always 4 pieces. (Her driver must have ate hers.) And portions are generous. I have NEVER finished a full plate, (as much as I would love to) and always have more than enough left for lunch the next day. (Also, had the spaghetti bowl tonight, and with the salad and bread, half of the bowl was more than enough to fill me up!!) Anyway, I would rather pay a little more to have wonderful food and service than to even eat for free at some of the other ''Italian' places around here. Hands down my favorite place to eat in Coastal Georgia :)

I paid 18.00 for 2 pasta bowls and all we got was about 4 bites in each order. The bruschetta was 8.00 for two pieces of toast and two small amounts of tomato from a can and olive oil. I definitely did not get my money's worth and the family was still hungry afterwards. The driver waited 45 minutes for the food too. Won't be ordering again.

I write this review with disappointment. Not with the taste of the food, the ambiance, or the service we received from the staff. The reason for this unfortunate two star review is the consistent shortage of food items on the menu. Three out of the last four times I've eaten at this establishment, the server has to read off a list of items that are not on the menu. Let me digress a bit and say the food is fresh and I haven't had any items on the menu that were not delicious It's small quaint restaurant with a nice ambiance. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. This is what makes this review difficult to write. The last visit I've had at this restaurant, we tried to order the caprese salad, we were told they're sorry we don't have it. So we asked about the cucumber salad, and they did not have that either. The server went on to say, we also do not have veal, sausage, or bolognese sauce. All of which are the items my wife normally would order from this establishment. I'm a chicken parm guy, I would've been good, but where's the fun in the wife watching me eat. But I digress, this happens all too frequently and it never seems to be just one or two items. It's normally a list the poor server has to read to the guests, which leaves a bad impression. I'm not sure if I'll be making it back to this establishment in the near future. It's a shame because I like to eat local and I like to support small businesses. I cannot recommend Bocci's because you simply don't know if the dish you want will be available.

So my husband and I tried this place because yelp said it was 4 stars. Okay well maybe I am just a hard critic when it comes to places I eat. All tea and soft drinks where in bottles I guess that is a good thing because it was so dark in there I could not tell if the place was clean or just old. I feel sorry for the people that came in after us and tried to order wine that they normally get when they come to this place and could not get it. This place did not have a wine list who does that? When the bread came it looked good but the dipping oil was flavorless. When I think Italian I think of seasons like oregano and garlic but that was no where in sight. Do not get me started on the side salad that the dressing tasted like something out of a grocery store. I wonder just how much of my was actually fresh or just micro-waved. We could see into the kitchen and it looked like the person was putting food into a microwave above his head. When the food actually came out let me tell I already had an idea it wasn't going to be good. Boy was I right. I had not said anything to my husband and he was like the food is disappointing to say the least. I knew then it must be bad cause my husband loves lasagna. So I took a bite oh man it tasted like the sauce came out of a can not fresh at all. There was no season on anything. My husband even tried adding salt for some kids of flavor beside the can tomato sauce taste. My food had a little more flavor the pesto bowl but the noodles tasted like rubber. I was joking with my husband and said this place needs Gordon Ramsay for a make over. I would never suggest this place for anyone.

We had lunch today and ordered The Meat Lover's Pizza. It was excellent, thin crust, well spiced, it reminded me of the family owned pizzerias back home. Really a treat!
This is the worst example of an Italian restaurant in Southeast Ga. They offered a salad and didn't have the lettuce to actually make it. This place has Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares written all over it! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Wasn't too bad. Prices averaged at about $20 per person. There is no kids menu, so it was $20 for our 5 year old to eat also. The tea was terrible. Service was good.

My family left very disappointed. Food did not taste good and portions were ridiculously small. Kids portion was larger then a full size pasta bowl. Waitress said because regular portion included a small salad and that's the reason it was smaller. What a joke...

Food had no taste. Regular portions are the same as kids portions but for way more $$$. Received dirty plate and asked to change and never got a clean plate. Slow service. One waitress for the whole restaurant. Definitely not recommend.
