This was our first time ordering online at Bubbaâs Bistro. The online ordering was simple and easy to use. I do miss the old days of calling in an order, but progress wins. We ordered the fried chicken with Mac and cheese, and the fried flounder with shrimp basket. It was all delicious! My only complaint was that the hush puppies were rock hard and over cookedâŚ.highly disappointing especially since you pick your sides. Literally could not eat them they were so hard. When you live 7 miles away, you donât just drive back up to the restaurant to get them replaced. Itâs too easy for the kitchen staff to test each batch to make sure itâs cooked correctly. We will try Bubbaâs again, and hopefully I will get my hush puppy craving fulfilled.

I ordered a Medium Burger. It was well done and dry seared hard adding mustard and ketchup didât help. The pulled pork sandwich was very dry even with BBQ sauce on it. Sadly the waitress couldnât be bothered to check on how the sandwiches were cooked.

What a gem!! We were driving back to NC and popped in here to eat. We had the pimento fried green tomatoes, shrimp and flounder, and the fried moon pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was out of this world! The shrimp were huge and fresh, and so was the founder. The sweet potatoes were the real deal and not frozen, and the tartar sauce is made in house! Also recommend the Savannah ice tea cocktail. Our server Rose, was the highlight of our night! What a sweet, kind, and attentive young lady. Highly recommended.

Dropped in for lunch on a Tuesday, had maybe the best shrimp and grits (with a crabcake) of my life, and âlow country stir fryâ which was unique to me at least and delicious. Friendly folks, cool place, we stopped passing through but would be regulars if we lived here.
Great company I had dinner with. Good food. They enjoyed it as well. Too full for dessert. It was well attended but still quiet.

I have heard a lot about this place. So a friend and I stopped. I had the shrimp and grits and he had the special meat loaf.
My shrimp and grits were a childâs portion and the shrimp were obviously not fresh caught Georgia (and then verified by the waitress). The meal came cold and flavorless. Really some of the worst I have ever had.
The meatloaf was dried out and not good.
We did speak to the waitress who was very nice and offered us both different menu items.
The service was great, the atmosphere was nice but unfortunately did not measure up to buzz.
I will try it again but avoid the two items mentioned.

Stepping Up Their Game at Bubba's Bistro
We both had one of the specials tonight, one of the most tender steaks that I have ever had. My husband had the Texas Pete Shrimp and fries. Also treated ourselves (shared) to the delicious banana pudding. And of course the atmosphere was top notice. We love going to Bubbaâs where we feel like family.

I was homeless an the owner let me and my dog kinda hang out a day until I found a ride out but it was nice outside it seemed cool I noticed the police an locals loved it so I support any local business that the community loves-âď¸đ
