I really want to like this place. Great concept and close to home. We’ve been there 4 or 5 times and each time the service and quality was average at best. Always slow service and understaffed.
Last night we stopped after dinner for a drink. Place was maybe half full. Took a while and a nice gentleman server came by, greeted us and said he would get us menus. He came back and we ordered a round. Two of the folks with us asked for a Nutty Irishman. The server said he was not familiar and we shared it’s simply Frangelico and Bailey’s. Those drinks were delivered by who seemed to be the manager/owner. She said she “didn’t add whipped cream as that would take 15 minutes or more.” We thought that was odd as the drink we described doesn’t call for whipped cream. In the end the drink was coffee, apparently irish whiskey and who knows what else. We asked our original server to take them back as they were not good nor what was ordered and reordered something else. The reorder was delivered by the manager and that’s where things went south. She said she wanted to “understand the mix up as she just wasted top shelf liquor.” We shared what we ordered vs what came back and she said “look, I googled Nutty Irishman and mixed what came up.” I guess that’s the new age bartender, do what google says? Her tone was terrible and not what we were looking for on a nice night out with friends. She even said “you’re not part of our regulars so how would we know your preferences?” We are reasonably regular and made a simple ask. This service experience is not unusual with the restaurant group and the eventual competition in Richmond Hill will catch up with them. We will not be coming back.

We were spending the night in Richmond Hill and our hotel room wasn’t available yet. So we decided to get a drink somewhere. We found this place. It’s a hidden gem in an unassuming shopping center. If I lived in the area I would definitely spend way too much time here. For those that said the service was poor, they don’t understand the type of place this is. This is a very personal attention type place that is designed for you to sit down and relax. It not a rush you a drink and get you to move on type a place. So I highly recommend you check this place out, come in and enjoy one of their specialty drinks and kick back and relax.

What a great place for an inventive cocktail and delicious food! The staff was delightful and extremely knowledgeable. They have a wide assortment of liquors, including some very high-end bourbons. The atmosphere tends toward a speakeasy and is very comfortable. Highly recommend for a relaxing drink and bite to eat.

Love this cocktail bar! Madison is a very attentive bartender, nothing negative to say.
We dropped by for after dinner cocktails and had a wonderful time. The service was great/helpful, and all the drinks were incredible!

We had the Korean chicken, pork belly, truffle fries, and peanut butter pie. All excellent. Cocktails were great as well. Sam was an exceptional waitress/bar tender. Friendly and knowledgeable. Bonus points for clean, cute bathrooms. 10/10

The drinks that I got at this place were good however they stole money from me. I had gotten two drinks, an espresso martini an old fashion. The bill was 28$ and I tipped 5$ so the total was 33$ and they charged me 43$ after I saw the bank statement. If you don’t want your money to get stolen by the people here don’t go… I believe this is unacceptable for any organization to do this and illegal!!
