SUMO - Japanese Teriyaki & Sushi

First time trying this place. The sushi is sub par and I actually have enjoyed grocery store sushi more. The fried rice was flavorless. Probably will never come back here again

Food is very bland and a small portion for price. Zero atmosphere or enthusiasm by staff. Shrimp sauce and Ginger dressing sits out all day unrefrigerated, good way to get someone sick.

NOT AS GOOD AS POOLER LOCATION ~ Last night I picked up teriyaki chicken that was so dry it didn't even taste like teriyaki. I had to use a lot of yum yum sauce just to eat it. Very dry & disappointing. My partner got california roll sushi. We both threw up after eating this food!

according to DOOR DASH, the restaurant is located in the back alley way, so DONT follow their directions... but the sushi was so big I could not fit one single piece in my mouth ...it was so annoying I had to actually attempt to cut them with a knife to eat them.. and we all know that is just crazy... it tasted okay.. but for the price.. not so much.... on another note.. I added special instructions to my order for extra yum yum sauce and they charged me $2.16 for 2 small sauce containers of sauce... weird amount.. and so not worth the "4oz's" of yum yum sauce we received.

I’ve ordered from here through Uber eats and twice they’ve NOT followed instructions. I ordered hibachi chicken with fried rice and veggies, veggies plural meaning more than one kind of veggies. So my instructions were no mushrooms. How does that mean no veggies at all?? This is the second time this has happened. Super NOT happy with that. Too easy to read and follow what you’re reading NOT hard!!!!

So yummy ? only thing I would suggest is having 2 cups of shrimp sauce per meal when ordering to go instead of just one.

My least favorite sumo I've been to. I order the same thing every time I go to one of these restaurants. These rolls were too big to eat (had to cut them with a fork), they wouldn't let me substitute a topping unlike other locations, stingy on the eel sauce, and the sashimi is 1 piece? Since when...? AND my stomach has been aching for the past hour.. I definitely won't be going back for sushi. Stick with the hibachi..

First time at this restaurant and was disappointed. No friendliness, chicken bowl was dry chicken pieces & rice, tofu soup bland with tiny bits of tofu. Expected more with professionalism as well. Will not return.
