The Local on 17 USDA PRIME STEAKS

Appetizers were great drinks were great. Server was very arrogant from the start, answered questions with sarcasm and attitude. Ordered a cowboy ribeye medium, steak came out rare when stated that the steak was raw his response was “well that’s medium”. So why bother asking us to cut it and inspect it, if you offer no remedy? We bit the bullet and ate what we could other than the service, food had good flavor however we did not appreciate the vibe from our server.

My sister took me here for my birthday. I ambiance was everything. They had a birthday card on the table for me. Best steakhouse in GA. You have got to try the steak rolls. Chefs Kiss. Also don't for get to tip the piano guy.

Great atmosphere. The barman, Jeremy really looked after us in a professional, courteous and friendly way. Excellent service. Highly recommended and will go back next time I am at Ft Stewart.

First steak restaurant I’ve ever gone to in my life and spent $100 on a steak and they refused to cook it well done for me, I know I’m an odd duck but they absolutely refuse so we got our appetizers and left. I’ve never been refused a well-done steak at all of the fine dining establishments I’ve eaten in. Kind of shocked. Wasted my time at this steak house and have to say my first time. Go to Tony’s in Savannah!! Mind blowing steak! Yes they cook it your way !!!

A previous visit was very good food and service. Sadly, not the case last night. Three of our party returned the steak because it was so over salted. When we asked for a replacement steak without seasoning we were told by our server that all the steaks were preseasoned and nothing else was available. Also, when we asked for a manager one never showed up.
My husband ate a salad and a baked potato for dinner .
I do not believe we will be returning to spend the amount of money for the quality.

This place was super fun. Our steaks were delicious and they cooked them to perfection. They nailed the asparagus, crisp and tasty. For the apps we had the fried green tomatoes and the fried deviled eggs. As a bonus they had live music.

We love Jay's place! Amazing steaks, every time. This particular visit, we had a lovely young waitress named Lylah. She was impeccably on point... from her recommendations of the daily specials and knowledge of food pairings to prompt table service... an absolute delight 😊.

The server we had tonight was so rude. The receipt said his name was Travis. He ruined an otherwise nice evening. The food was great, the man on the piano was great, love the laid back atmosphere. I don’t think this guy should be a server at a nice restaurant with a McDonald’s cashier attitude.
