We had the pork belly for an appetizer. It was incredibly tough and really salty. If you order the balsamic vinaigrette with a side salad, beware that the dressing is spicy. Also the presentation of the side salad was something I would have made myself - just diced up lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes in a small bowl. I had the Cioppino and it was decent but nothing earth shattering. My wife had the chicken bucatini that was also a bit tough and did not have a lot of flavor. For the price and where this restaurant is, I expected a lot more, hence my review.
For the price, the food should be much better. The cornbread was so dry and our main dishes were just average. The seafood dish with red sauce had good flavor but it was almost like a mystery dish with a piece of bread soaking at the bottom . I gave up on it once I bit into something that was inedible and hard . The staff, drinks and ambience are great though.
Wonderful lunch spot with great views off Lookout Mountain and the golf course. The food and service were excellent. Can't wait to return!
After a day of golf, we had reservations at the Creag and it did not disappoint. Meg was a fantastic waitress, and was spot on with all of her recommendations. We certainly felt taken care of and will be back again.
We sat in the bar area to watch the football games and the service + food was great! We actually ate at the Creag for lunch + dinner in the same day—the menus are so different & both so good!
A last minute find hidden away in NW Georgia. Amazing food and the staff as well A plus. We enjoyed a quick lunch and the views wow. Would recommend the restaurant to everyone. An amazing burger 🍔

What started as a great evening ended on a sour note. Food and wine choices excellent Prices fair for caliber of restaurant. One poor choice we made was the corn bread It was dry and tasteless. We were having a great evening until a large group of golfers came in. I understand that it is a restaurant assoc. with a golf resort but It is marketed as high end, not a pub Unfortunately they were way too loud for the setting and spoiled the night for many other diners who Scrambled to move their tables away from this group I understand the crowd/ noise level is out of management's control but the acoustics of the restaurant magnified the problem Additionally, the level of service fell off for diners at tables of 2 and 4 once some larger groups came in I feel the wait staff should be better trained to monitor the tables they are already serving so their evening does not suffer at expense of newer diners coming in. I would not tell people not to go because it truly is a lovely place but just know this going in. The crowd situation was a one-off ;but , the service could be improved upon.
Renaming this restaurant The Salt Factory. Couldn’t sleep bc my body was retaining so much water. My lips are still shriveled. Other than that, pretty solid.

I stopped by The Creag in North Georgia last night while traveling to visit family friends, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing! I started with the house soup, which was delicious, and then had the veal chop. The portion was huge and cooked perfectly! I also tried one of their cocktails, and it was really tasty and well-balanced and refreshing.
Our waitress was wonderful and super friendly, attentive, and clearly great at her job. The whole experience felt relaxed but elevated at the same time. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone passing through the area or looking for a great meal in North Georgia!

Great atmosphere, food was good. Took way too long to get our food and the staff apologized.
Our soup came out cold and our burnt ends were very tough. Rest of food was pretty average.
Cioppino and mussels both overly spiced, big salad came without dressing and only iceberg lettuce; duck breast salad had four strips of totally flavorless duck. And it was VERY loud.
The scenery is great, but food not so much. Would not recommend eating here, maybe a cocktail.
Wonderful staff, food and scenery. Have been to The Creag many times and have never been disappointed.
