This place got to be permanently shut down it’s always closed

I visit this restaurant regularly and everytime I go I'm always satisfied

The food was nasty to me lol idk maybe the bbq is just good but I had they baked chicken plate the chicken was light skinned 😂 no burntness to it no brown just light skinned didn’t taste right to me maybe I came on a bad day but after tasting the food I didn’t under why the building was so wrapped or maybe the people that actually come here don’t know what real soul food taste like or look like umma have to try it again but the plate I had was a no for me the yams weren’t even all the way done wasn’t nothing smothered about them yams had to buy a new one since I had dropped mine outside lol and was mad I purchased another was not tasty

I got a catering order of ribs with sauce on the side. They were absolutely delicious! I picked them up the day before the family event. Even after heating them up, they were just as fresh and delicious ! I would give them a ten ! The only problem I had and it was my fault I should have gotten my own personal small pan! I highly recommend them!

If you haven't been there you definitely should go best soul food and barbecue and the prices are excellent 👍🏾👍🏾

The food was delicious

Very good food they are serious about everything they cook I recommend this place it's Atlanta's diamond in the rough nothing in Riverdale can touch them

Not sure about any of the other reviews but this is my 3rd plate from them and it was literally good every time 😋 I’ve tried the grilled bbq chicken which is fall off the bone and so flavorful. I’ve had the greens, green beans, baked Mac, corn, dressing w/gravy, and of course the cornbread. Everything is GREAT! The portion sizes are perfect for the price and they never disappoint

Food is always on point, well seasoned and hot. Customer service is always A1! Portion size is good! Will always visit.

Please don't eat there he have can vegetables and that's not healthy 😞

Great Food, the Ribs are Fantastic!

The website claims they're closed Monday and Tuesday so I decided to go on Wednesday hoping to get freshly prepared meals.
I paid for 3 meals. Baked chicken was dry but tolerable. Dressing was stale and dry. Collard greens and string beans tasted then smelled like sour leftovers. Trash.
Pork chop was ok. Mac and cheese tasted bland like just that - macaroni noodles and cheese only. Trash.
Spaghetti was tasteless - the sauce didn't have flavor and the sausage someone put in the spaghetti tasted like bottom shelf jail meat. A few bites and it went to trashcan.
We didn't even take a chance on the cabbage after all the other smells and tastes.
Yams were edible but I've definitely had better at places that cook meat, potatoes and veggies but don't claim to be a SOUL FOOD restaurant.

Server was very friendly.
Prices and portion sizes are very fair if we could actually eat and enjoy the food.
The walls and ceilings need to be cleaned and/or painted.

We won't be back.

Ordered 2 plates , wasn’t to pleased , my collards /greens taste like they come out a can , and the restaurant smell how it looks .and the pork chop wasn’t to fresh .

Black owned businesses by wife and husband! Nice and friendly atmosphere!
