Saw this place as I was riding up the street going back towards the interstate. I originally wanted the CFA which is next door, but stopped here instead since I'm familiar with Jamrock from the location in the city. I had to try a beef patty, and it was still top notch. I decided to get a small brown stew plate. The plantains, brown stew chicken, and rice & peas were good, but the other sides were already sold out for the day, and it wasn't even 5pm yet. That was disappointing. But the food was good & they're still serving up some of the best Jamaican in the metro ATL area.

This is my favorite place but now Why there’s no fried plantain in both of these plates is how you serve all your customers or you just do this if they realize it or if they don’t. I’m very disappointed!

Best jamaica food i had in GA HANDS DOWN!!! The jerk chicken 12/10 let’s talk about the patties definitely made from scratch unlike other jamaican spots i tried…it makes you wanna bite ya finger. Sheryl was phenomenal friendly and made the best drink a human can ever consume. DEFINITELY will be back tomorrow

Placed a large catering order of Jerk Pasta two days in advance. When got to dinner party at work every single person complain about the food. Absolutely no flavor considering the name jerk , and pasta was completely dry . It was so embarrassing that even my boss volunteered to take it back. So embarrassing didnt want anyone to know that i brought the dish. When i called the restaurant owner she said i was supposed to add liquids. For 160 dollars it should have came with everything. I patronized the restaurant because its in my neighborhood but based on the customer service or lack thereof , I want be going back or recommending anyone else. Im not a chef but my food taste better than that. I guess i will keep supporting Golden Krust instead.

So first I highly dislike to take a picture after I’ve started eating but here we are. I came here with high expectations based off someone getting food and that smelled extremely good, so I had to try it for myself. I was disappointed honestly. I ordered brown stew chicken, the flavor was not there at all and it was super spicy. There were so many bones and little chicken. I received a back bone and a thigh bone but the meat was nonexistent so I moved it to the side as you see in the picture. I got a large so I did get a generous amount of rice and peas, the plantain was good and cabbage was well cooked. I enjoyed my sides and the cocobread is a 10/10. I am willing to try back to see if maybe the curry chicken has more flavor but the brown stew chicken is definitely a no for me going forward. It just doesn’t give brown stew chicken, more of just stew chicken. My Husband got jerk chicken which had a lot of meat and was really good and came with a side of gravy. Better luck next time!
