Service was great! Very friendly and prompt. Restaurant was probably the cleanest I have been to in a while. Restrooms were perfect. Food was good, but not great. Cheese dip was kind of bland, but fries, salmon, cole slaw, etc was good. Waiter was on point which for Rome is a rarity. Went Sunday evening around 6pm and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Prices were good. Tea was good and sweet and my wife wants me to mention she enjoyed the peach chutney chicken. Would recommend.
DO NOT EAT HERE! This location is sketchy and suspect. The empty parking was what caught our eye, but should have also been the cue to say NO! My fiance and I went to this location to enjoy our Sunday Dinner and instantly regretted it. The host seemed confused about where she wanted to seat us and when when we did get seated, it took our waitress a few mins to come out. She took our food order and I had to mention the drinks! We ordered 2 strawberry lemonades that we only took a few sips from because they tasted funny. While waiting for the waiting for the waitress to pass by so that we could change the drink order, I looked up their health score and noticed a score of 60 as of 08/04/2021!!!??? needless to say we both pulled $5 bills from our pockets placed on the table and left! They shouldn't even be open with the violations I read!
Love the salmon, staff is friendly food is great. I will definitely eat here again
First we walked in and there was nobody to greet you and so we sat down and waiting nearly 30 min and still nobody greeted us. Finally a lady was standing at the front so my boyfriend goes and asked how long the wait will be and she said 30 min... I think they are under staffed but at least let your customers know.
Who is closed on Monday and Tuesday? Why are you not open past 8pm? New hours of operation are completely opposite of what the web says. Poor management. Only reason to come back is the food is good.
We are usually happy there but today was a disaster. The restaurant is filthy, food was subpar including the giant hair in my daughter's food. The manager was dismissive when we spoke. Don't think we will be back.
This placed used to be reliably good and predictable. It has fallen apart. Slow service, suspect food, and nothing good to say. With the recent 75 food score, I don't expect this place to last long and recommend anywhere else in Rome. I'd take fast food over my experience here any day.
We split the meal as it's always too much. But it was truly delicious. I still ate too much. Of course we went on Wednesday to get the free piece of pie as seniors. We will be back.
I had a bad experience at this place...they worked the waiter to death and NO ONE helped him out..I felt sorry for this young man and even after we left, he apologized to us but he owed us no apology, the manager did.there we're people walking around on the job that could have helped him out and didn't.the cooks didn't try to serve the food cooked right.but, thank God for food, and I think when you pay your hard earned money you should at least have good food and service..and to the waiter, thank God for you...I'm praying for you to find another job position..
We have been going to O'Charley's for years, first in Dalton, now in Rome. The service and food quality was exceptional at first in Dalton then it went downhill quickly until it closed. A couple of days ago we went to the one in Rome again. It seems to be following the same trend. The last few times it seems to get worse each time. On this last visit, the service was quite pitiful and my food didn't achieve mediocrity. My Golden Barbecue Chicken sandwich had no barbecue sauce on it and had it not been for the bacon and pickles, would have had no flavor at all and the fries were cold and unseasoned. My wife's fish and sweet potato fries seemed to be much better. The table next to us called for the manager after receiving food that was cold and inproperly cooked. We're done. There are too many other restaurants close by for us to waste time and money on this one.
Restaurantji Recommends
I have been going to O’Charley’s in Rome for years. The food was good, but the service was poor, at best. While responding to a work text message, one server walked behind me and made a comment about people being on their phones in restaurants.
Love the French dip an there dinner rows is so good the service is awesome an so so is the food nice place if u wanna take the family or go out on a date
I took my Mother here For Mother's Day. And the service was great and the food was excellent. I would recommend this O'Charley's again.
Great food! Our waitress the best!
This place is an absolute joke. We waited about 7 minutes before a hostess was anywhere in site. Afterwards, once we were sat our server walker by us TWICE and did not acknowledge us so my wife had to get her attention to even get something to drink which took another 10 minutes. Our potato skins hardly had any toppings and were absolutely pathetic. This place needs to close the doors for good.
