We love the Sweet Bar. I'm a little bit of a self-proclaimed donut aficionado, happily discovering Rome had among the best donuts we've eaten (living in the military we've lived in many metro areas (Phoenix, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Washington D.C., Salt Lake City, etc...),You cannot beat the early glazed donuts made fresh daily. Yeast raised donuts...old school. Some things just cannot be replicated without the old school ways.
I’ve been eating donuts, cakes and cupcakes from this bakery for years. It’s my go to stop for my sweet tooth in Rome when I don’t feel like making it myself. Friendly people and yummy treats. The cakes I’ve ordered have always been perfectly done.

Used to get their doughnuts every Saturday for the Workers at my job. But they were More expensive.per dozen like 13 dollars.and the size of the glazed donuts got smaller.way smaller.. so they basically Became the same size as a Krispy Kreme.. but.. KrispyK donuts Taste metallic.. . . I stopped buying their product. And Less frequently at The Sweetshoppe.. Sweet shoppe It's great though.. YOU GET QUALITY, AND GREAT TASTE.. RECOMMENDED! .
