Panera has taken some hits of late. It’s lost all the magic that made it special years ago. Even the bread isn’t all that good these days. It’s just okay. And I guess for what it is, that’s fine. I mean it’s not bad. It’s just not great. And it still could be, but it isn’t. Like that’s no longer the goal.
And the prices are far too high mediocrity.

So, so expensive! I got 1 full size sandwich and the pick 2, half tuna and chicken noodle soup, over $30! Soup was good, tuna sandwich was good, however, all the tuna was on the paper, only a small bit made it on the bread!

Their food has definitely gone up in price, not really worth it, but that's all paneras. It's cozy and it was cold outside so it was nice.
The Asiago Cheese Bagel quality has hit rock bottom, We order half a dozen every Saturday morning. For the past 2 weeks now we have receive sub par bagels. very little cheese if any on all of them. See attached photos of what i expected vs what i received. I'm hopeful the Rome,Ga. Store Manager see this post and corrects the mistake.

Open only 19 minutes ago….No staff at counter had to yell for someone while the manager sitting at the front finally said oh I’m sorry. The boy making the food had ear pods in and could not hear. The place is unclean with floors not vacuumed and food along the windows and dried food on the backs of the seating. The standard is very low that suggests poor leadership.

I really love Panera Bread. That's why it pains me to write this review. I'm hoping that it's just this location that is having the issues. I ordered a French Onion Soup and it was so greasy, I couldn't eat it. And I don't remember what was wrong with our order, but it wasn't correct. I gave them another try several weeks later. Same soup ordered but didn't get the French Onion. I have no clue what they gave me. They graciously offered me a free soup.
This week, I decided to get my free soup and ordered the Rustic Potato for my free soup and then ordered the French Dipper (which I paid for). The soup container was maybe half full. I thought, "Well, it was free... oh well." But it didn't have any cheese in it. This might be my mistake because I didn't ask, I was just going by the picture which clearly had cheese in the soup. Again, it was free. The sandwich is DELICIOUS. However, I thought it was supposed to come with something to dip it in? It's called the French Dipper so I assumed I'd be dipping it in something. I'm not complaining to them because I don't want to be seen as one of those people trying to get free food all the time.
So, while the food and the atmosphere are amazing, I've had way too many instances where my order was wrong. I'll continue to go to Panera Bread, but likely won't visit this location again.
