My wife and I went here (twice) when we stayed over night to visit Rome. We only had coffee, I had a sugar free one and she had regular coffee with half n half. The coffee is solid!

What really stood out was the staff, a bunch of God loving stewards of coffee and talking with people. Dylan and Solomon were awesome and even prayed with us as we are considering to move to Rome and our ministry plan.

If you are looking for some good coffee and people who care about you, check them out!

Gluten Free Bakery was super legit! Someone is a baking artist at this place and their GF baked goods are amazing.

The Sharp Sickle is an awesome place for a quick bite of gluten free goodness!
The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. The selection is plentiful and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful. The coffee drinks are priced according are very reasonable. The Sharp Sickle is a great place to take your whole family. It's conveniently located and a welcome stop while browsing the adjacent stores on Broad Street. Stop by soon, and check it out. Your stomach and your body will thank you.

Wanted to love this place, my husband had a very tasty oatmeal pie cookie and coffee. I got one of their very think chocolate chip Oreo and sprinkle cookies but so hard and unfortunately not tasty and crumbled like sand.

Came in here for a quick coffee (earlier than they opened, might I add...whoops!), and the ladies who worked there were all super sweet and gave me good tips on where to get lunch. The whole place was immaculately clean, and they had funky flooring throughout. I got the gingersnap cappuccino, I believe, and it was delicious. The prices were also about $1 less for the same size drink as I'd get back around Bham and same caliber. Would definitely suggest them to anyone in the area or if you're passing through Rome.

My daughters & I were on vacation in Mentone, & I saw this restaurant when googling that was entirely gluten-free & Christian/mission-supporting. I had/have some health issues & developed a gluten intolerance during the last year. My health journey was very isolating & frustrating. I literally almost cried eating my delicious oatmeal white chocolate cranberry cookie, feeling... overwhelmed & emotional that I was able to walk in somewhere & order what I wanted without a reaction or feeling restricted. It sounds silly, but I was just so overwhelmed with gratitude. You could also feel the pure love of Jesus in that place (Thank you, Solomon & Paige!). I live 4 hours away, but I will place online orders for their baked goods in the future. 💜 Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!!

We stopped in while walking around downtown Rome. It was a hot day, and we were in need of some ice-cold beverages. We ordered the Peach Iced Tea and the Peach Sickle Soda. Both were exactly what we needed and very refreshing! In addition to the drinks, there were plenty of gluten-free and low-carb snack options, all of which looked very delicious. We'll definitely be back, and we would recommend you check this place out as well!

This has been by far the most welcoming cafe, I have ever seen. Finally a place I can relax at and feel safe to eat as someone who is allergic to gluten.
