A scenic eatery along the riverfront in Rome, this charming bistro is celebrated for fresh, homemade fare and scenic water views. Artisan paninis, specialty wraps, crisp garden salads, house-made soups, and baked treats headline the menu. A relaxed, light-filled atmosphere makes for a delightful dining stop.
Stopped here for lunch and food was amazing! We had wraps, sandwich, fries, and pimento cheese balls and everything was perfect! Friendly staff, quick service, great food, nice patio and plenty of room inside. Will be back!

Ana's by the River is easily one of the best sandwich spots, located in charming downtown Rome with plenty of other things to do nearby. The food is excellent, with the olive muffalta sandwich, turkey Rotolo, buffalo chicken rotolo with a jalapeño wrap, and Rosto (like a French dip) as standout choices. Sandwiches and house chips are a hit, the best wings in town, and the chef pasta salad, spaghetti, lasagna, and potato salad are also loved. Portions are well above average, and prices are very reasonable for the size of the sandwich and sides. Seating is somewhat limited inside, but there is a patio and plenty of seating options including indoor and front/back patio areas. The inside is super cute, and the patio gives the feel like you know everyone you're sitting with. A great kids meal is also available. However, do not get water here—it is the worst water at a restaurant, so get a soft drink or something bottled instead. The back patio had 0 ventilation when visited. Overall, the food has not changed in its awesomeness or great flavor over 37 years.
