“Last week I had the pleasure of trying out truth be told for the first time. My friends and I had so much fun and ended up staying until close! The art and design of the space are so well done, makes you never want to leave. So shout out to the staff for putting up with us :) Our server Jose was incredible.

From start to finish you can tell how intentional this experience was. The chef, owner, and staff have all come together to create something truly unique.

The drinks were so creative, maybe the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The red handed and infinite lies were both incredible. They made an exceptional martini and a delicious espresso martini to go with desert.

The food was amazing- the standout to me was the Wagyu tongue and tri tip which was the most well prepared meat I’ve ever had.
I cant wait to come back and try it again. My favorite of the first courses was the summer squash tart. I was surprised by how much I loved the aerated vegetables. My favorite desert was the strawberry. I got the chance to have a bite of just about everything and it was all delicious.

Without a doubt the best experience ive had at a restaurant this year and can’t wait to try again.“

“Came here with my family for dinner on Sunday. We were greeted by a sweet man and sat at our table. We ordered the hummus, garlic labneh, sumac fries, and falafel for appetizers and everything tasted good and came out hot and fresh. For dinner we ordered the zatar braised short rib, upside down lamb pilaf, and the chicken taouk. Everything tasted great and was nice and hot. The chef came out to talk to us and he was a very nice man. Will definitely come back again!“

The food was excellent, and my experience was made perfect thanks to my lovely server, Ashley, and one of the managers, Stacie! They made sure I had a great time and enjoyed great food! “I recently dined at Chelo for a birthday lunch. All of the food was next level delicious, but I am going to dream of those feta rolls. The service was quick and the server was awesome. The atmosphere was very charming. Unlike most restaurants on Canton Street, they actually have parking, huge bonus.“

“Pretty decor, plenty of seating, and led signs to take pictures with! My favorite dish is the pollo empanizado. Always cooked to perfection crispy and juicy on the inside. Top two drinks would be the hibiscus and tamarindo margarita. Not to mention the ceviche to start 10/10 so fresh perfect for a hot summer day.“

“You definitely have to give this place a try if you love seafood. Got the shrimp soup and fried tilapia and it was freakin delicious. Fair warning, the light orange/clear sauce you get with the fish is straight up blended habeñeros, it's delicious but do not eat if you can't handle spice lmao. I had a full spoonful and the rest of my dinner was just so delicious, got an endorphin rush. The shrimp soup was so good too, I didn't realize how big each meal was, so I have lunch for tomorrow. It's a little pricey but worth it. I cannot give less than 5 stars for the quality of the food. Definitely compliments to the chef!Can't wait to come back and try something new.
