We had an amazing Mother’s Day brunch at Fogón and Lions yesterday! From the moment we walked in, everything was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. You can really tell the team cares about creating a great experience. Amazing people, amazing vibe, and such a perfect place to celebrate with family. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

$200 for 2 people while trying to be mindful of price. $23 for 5 shrimp. I had to track down waitress 3 times for refreshments, then requests 30% tip. Still hungry. This place is crazy

Made reservations for a PM dinner. Arrived to find a private party was being held indoors and had to be seated outdoors. No issues there until it started to pour which was thankfully after we’d finished our dinner. Our server Jordan was very helpful to recommend various platters to share or main entrees. Overall I was a little disappointed with the food. Guacamole and chips were good, I’d add a little more lime. The Mexican Caesar salad seemed like something I could’ve gotten anywhere. Broccolini was salty I had to try and neutralize it with water. Beef empanadas were subpar at most. Got filled off of the tapas so didn’t get to try the chicken. Overall, I wouldn’t come back to this restaurant as I didn’t find the food meeting my expectations.

If you haven’t been here, you haven’t tried the world’s best avocados margaritas. The drinks are great, the food is beyond and the staff is amazing. The owner is super kind and attentive to his customers and staff. Make sure to follow their Instagram for their fun events. This is Alpharetta’s hidden, not so hidden by the locals gem! 💎

Banger time. Banger food. I went to 2 other “nice restaurants” the last two nights. But I enjoyed this food and vibe the most over other “high quality” restaurants. Try it out.

I don't generally write lengthy, detailed reviews, however I have plenty to say in regards to Fogon & Lions.
On a whim while looking for a cocktail and a small bite to eat, my spouse and I noticed the sign and I, being a Leo and a lover of Spanish cuisine—tapas especially—decided to try it out.
First, a creative cocktail menu with unique flavors and fresh ideas. Each drink felt thoughtfully constructed rather than thrown together for trend’s sake. You can tell there’s intention behind the balance of flavors, and the presentation matched that same level of care.
The atmosphere immediately pulls you in—warm, inviting, and just the right amount of upscale without feeling pretentious. It strikes that difficult balance where you feel comfortable lingering, yet still a bit elevated for a night out.
As for the food, this is where Fogon & Lions really shines. The tapas were vibrant, well-seasoned, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Each dish came out with its own personality, and nothing felt repetitive or uninspired. It’s the kind of place where sharing plates becomes part of the experience rather than just a necessity.
Service was attentive without hovering, and the staff seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which always adds to the experience. Recommendations felt honest and helpful rather than scripted.
What started as a spontaneous stop turned into one of the more memorable dining experiences we've had in Alpharetta. Fogon & Lions manages to combine creativity, quality, and atmosphere in a way that feels both effortless and intentional.
We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, it won’t be on a whim.

We came across this restaurant on Resy.com and choose it as my wife loves Puerto Rican food.
We preferred outdoor seating. The ambience was great, the atmosphere was lively, the staff was amazing and the food was awesome!!
The real head turner was the 32oz margarita served in a oversized cocktail 🍸 glass.
My kid loved her flatbread mushroom which was more like a pizza for her.
The Puerto Rican beans resemble Indian rajma beans with their use of garlic and spices, we love it!!
Vegetable Paellas took about 45 minutes to be served but it was well worth the wait and very delicious!!
Overall we enjoyed this restaurant and we will surely comeback!!

Got the Pan Con Tomate and the Arroz Al Carbon with Pork Belly for Saturday brunch. The food, the service, and the environment were on point! Definitely coming here every weekend for bottomless mimosas 🤫

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience really missed the mark. I want to start by saying the hostess at the front door was amazing—she was incredibly accommodating, squeezed our group in, and even got us an indoor table, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. Our waitress was extremely rude and dismissive from the start. She barely checked on us throughout the entire meal and seemed completely uninterested in providing any kind of service. The only time she was attentive was when it came to checking IDs—she insisted on checking every single person’s ID at the table, even though only one person was ordering a drink. I understand policies need to be followed, but this felt excessive and unlike any experience we’ve had at other restaurants, especially given that we are all in our mid-20s. When one person had to go back to the car to get their physical ID, that was the only time she returned to re-engage.
When we tried to ask for recommendations (since it’s a tapas-style restaurant), she gave us nothing helpful—just said “anything you choose is good,” which wasn’t useful at all. The food itself was also disappointing—very overpriced for the quality, lacking flavor, and honestly surprising given the expectations we had.
It also felt like because we were a larger group, she assumed the automatic gratuity meant she didn’t need to put in any effort—which definitely showed in her attitude and lack of service.
To top it off, the bathroom situation was chaotic. There appeared to be only one restroom, which led to a long line. We were told there were additional restrooms around the corner, but there was no signage indicating they were staff-only (if they even were). When people were waiting to use them, the waitress walked in, rolled her eyes, and said “are you kidding me?” before storming out. It was incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary, especially considering the lack of clear direction.
Overall, the poor service completely overshadowed the entire experience. I could have overlooked mediocre food if the service had been good, but the attitude and lack of care made it a place I won’t return to. I won’t be recommending this restaurant to others.

This has always been a favorite restaurant, so I booked my company dinner here for 30 people. The event was incredibly simple to book and the execution of the event was perfect. The entire group commented for days how this was the highlight of our weeklong company gathering based on the food, service, and ambiance. Highly reccomend working considering Fogon for a dining room buyout.

A gem in downtown Alpharetta with a lively atmosphere. Delicious tapas (good portions) and chicken/seafood paella. Our family also loved the mocktails. The service was welcoming and attentive. We will be back for date nights or special occasions.
