“Well, let’s take a step back for a moment. I’ve been coming here a long time….a very long time. Too long in fact to recapture all the magical moments in my life. In fact, Mac’s has been so important to me as I have celebrated life here and celebrated one’s who are no longer with us. It’s just the staff and the attention to details that sets this establishment into another level. You want a properly poured Guinness, they got you. You want amazing fresh and seasonal food with an Irish flair, they got you. You want atmosphere and music…they got you in spades. But the real test is showing up on a Wednesday night (weekday night) and just ordering a pint and some good grub. It always delivers and again, it’s because of the kitchen staff, the bar staff and the management. It’s worth a visit and if you happen to see Sarah behind the bar, tell her you want the perfect pint…she’ll serve up the best one you had. And NO shamrocks in the head (let’s not go there).“
