“We are from out of town and didn't realize that the parking lot behind the bar was a "pay lot", since the signs were blocked. Came out after a birthday party to find 2(!!! !) boots on our car.If we had seen the signs( which were turned to be visible on exit, not entrance) we would have paid $15 (no apparent place to pay) but since the signs were not visible, we paid $75 (!!!!!) to get the boots removed.Ambiance was great, service decent, prices as expected, food super slow (50 minutes for a cheeseburger!) but tasty. We probably won't come back, but mostly because of the parking issues.“

“Great option for late night dining. Laid-back atmosphere, good service and good food. The beer I was looking for was out-of-stock so the bartender offered to make a custom cocktail for me. I have no idea what it was, but it was vodka based and delicious. The brussels with grilled chicken and spicy aioli was incredible, and far beyond standard "bar food".“

“We came here night before St patty's day. It was packed of course and they had a great band playing. The service felt fast for such a busy night. We only ordered drinks, no food so I can't say anything about their food. Drinks were good. Average I would say maybe. We met some new people and the atmosphere was great for meeting new folk and having great conversation while listening to the band. They have this lovely upstairs area with a porch where you can sit and watch the people below. If you like to people and bird watch, that could be a nice cozy place to do so. Overall, it was my first time there and despite not being in the best of moods when I first arrived, I had a fantastic time in the end. Great first impressions for me. I would come back here“

“Nice spot with some good food and beer. Appetizers are all really good. Pretzel bites with cheese, buffalo cauliflower, and mushroom quesadilla were winners. Fish and chips is solid. I got Shepherd's Pie and it had a ton of grease on the top. I scooped off 5-6 large spoonfulls, which is excessive IMO. The server took it back and I thought I was going to get a fresh one, but when it came back I could see the spoon marks where I spooned off the oil. He confirmed it was the same dish but he just had the kitchen drain some of the oil. Odd, but whatever. They've had beignets as a special dessert both times I've been there and they are great. Not expected at a English/Irish pub, but they do them right.Service is friendly, vibe is nice. I do still miss Palookaville though!Parking: There's a lot connected to the pub with parking reserved for patrons. I've never had an issue finding a spot there.“
