This is the type of coffee shop you go to meet someone for coffee. They’ve curated a great vibe but the vibe is slooowwwww. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes for a basic latte.

Don’t know if short staff this AM or what but they definitely needed more people- especially for a weekend morning.
Line was out the door and the guy on the register was unbelievably slow. Usually not the case but was quite disappointed.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this charming, historic coffee shop for years, but the current state of neglect is not only disappointing—it’s dangerous. This week, the air conditioning has been completely broken, and stepping inside feels like walking into an oven. It was easily 95°F during my visit yesterday morning. As an elderly man, I began to feel lightheaded and sick after just a few minutes inside. I can’t imagine how unbearable it must be for the staff, who are expected to work full shifts under these unsafe conditions.
Frankly, it's appalling that the owner of such a beloved local establishment has failed to address this serious issue. You would think a person responsible for maintaining this space—especially one so steeped in character—would also care about the wellbeing of their employees and customers. But clearly, that is not the case.
This is not just poor management; it borders on a workplace safety violation. If the air conditioning is not repaired immediately, I fully intend to report the situation to OSHA. No one should be subjected to these conditions—not baristas, not patrons.
As much as I love my morning cup here, I’d gladly go without it if it meant the staff were treated with the basic decency they deserve.

My wife & I opened and ran a coffee shop in the 1990s and early 2000s right outside of Chicago. We make it a goal to seek out a different place to try a cup of coffee every week or so. We stopped in Land of 1000 Hills yesterday to grab a couple coffees around 2:30 yesterday afternoon. Initially when I arrived before her, I’d asked if they had any lunch foods, as I was pretty hungry. The young man working explained that they serve small-plate pastries and often bagel sandwiches, but that wasn’t what I was in the mood for. We chatted for a few minutes about some food spots down the road near The Roswell Mill, and so I went to check one out, and explained I’d be back, because the coffee smelled great.
It had been a little warm in the shop when I came in at first, but when I returned with my wife, it’s safe to say it felt cooler outside than it did in! The lady working apologized and explained that the air conditioning had not been working properly for a few days, and that they were in the process of getting it fixed. Neither my wife nor I are typical cold coffee drinkers, but due to the overwhelming heat, we ordered their cold brew with some half and half, and they were sublime. This coffee shop would’ve received five stars from us if it weren’t for the air conditioning issues. I can only assume the intense heat can’t be safe for the food, the coffee beans, but especially the patrons and employees of the coffeeshop. The owner should seriously do something before somebody overheats.

Couldn’t tell you how the food or drinks are because I couldn’t even get in. This establishment has beyond horrible parking. And there is no visible signage of parking elsewhere. To even get in the TIGHT parking you have to go up a STEEP hill, be careful not to damage under your car. The other option is to park at the food junction across the way but they have clear signage that they will tow you. Suggestion to business: give more options for parking or have signage. Many people are coming from elsewhere to do the River Walk and are not familiar with the area; so if there are other parking options please clearly indicate.

Coffee and drink choices are good. Coffee is great as is the food. Great atmosphere, cool vibe. Sat outside. Dog friendly. Parking is tricky.

So I'm addicted to a Salted Caramel Cheesecake Oatmilk latte which is popular in Mississippi. But when I moved to GA it was hard to find. I stumbled upon Land of a Thousand Hills and met Rachel. I told her what I was seeking and she took her time to create a similar version. She poured love and attention into this drink and it is divine. I'll give her 100 stars if I could. Rachel to the rescue. Drink perfect each time. I suggest visiting morning (before lunch). Personal preference. I get attached easily when I find something I like but I'm going to keep exploring other, more exotic coffee shops for a more suitable fit.
*Edited to review only the morning crew.

A very cute coffee shop right outside of the historic Roswell Downtown area. Plenty of seating both inside and outside with exceptional customer service and a wide variety of coffee, teas, and baked goods. A great spot to bring a friend, a date, or a visiting relative. The only thing is that their Wifi is not very strong, so be prepared to actually engage with the people and environment around you.

Grabbed a quick drink after my run on Saturday. Super cute place, plenty of parking. Grabbed the Bondi, which was a coconut mocha latte. Delicious! Def will be returning here.
