If you like the smell of years worth of bury gear and an attitude, this is your place. Arts there today and it was horrible. Caboose section where you order food was stifling hot and the other part of the restaurant was dark. I'm unsure if she is the owner but she is an older lady with gray hair pulled back in a bin with a FILTHY apron on. We sat outside due to the heat inside. The "owner" finally brought our food out. I asked for some ketchup and she said rudely, "She should've already put some on your burger." My temperature was rising and my guest could see my expression and asked that she bring a bottle of ketchup. She walked off with an obvious attitude and brought out the ketchup. My partner only eat half of his decrepit Cuban and went in for a to go box. She snapped at him and said, "We don't have to go boxes. I can give you some tin foil or something." Just to get out of there he took the tin foil and we left. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!

This place is a sleeper in Rutledge. Love their homemade cooking food and their desserts! Well worth the trip to get an amazing sandwich and relaxing lunch!

Have to order at the front counter. No handicap access to front counter. Very limited parking. Basically, all parking is on the street. I had a Cuban that had all the ingredients, but not in correct form. Still good, just not a true Cuban.

Nice little sandwich shop with a great selection of sandwiches. Service was nice and quick. Very friendly Restaurant is in an old boxcar, cool ambiance. Nice find in a tiny Georgia town.

Caboose is always a solid choice for a home cooked comfort food. Go for the cheeseburger, loaded with home fries. Or order off menu and get the patty melt!

Just what I needed during a break on BRAG(Bicycle Ride Across Georgia). A cute town, a pretty place to rest in the shade, and some yummy ice cream. Thank you for the memory.

We went to Caboose for lunch on the recommendation of friends we met camping nearby. The people were awesome inspire of being uber busy. The food was delicious. We had the Choo Choo and Amtrax sandwiches. The portion was plenty, we actually brought some home, and delicious. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Adorable mom-and-pop restaurant with Mom and pop present! The most reasonably priced, delicious breakfast I've had in years. Real homemade jams. It was a wonderful surprise and treat.
