After we did some hiking at the nearby State Park, we decided drive into Rutledge to eat lunch. We found Yesterday's Cafe and really enjoyed it. Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Next time we come to Rutledge, we will eat here.

It has been several years since I was last at Yesterday's. They have updated their Cafe, yet food is as good as ever.

The food was decent but the waitress we had seemed uninterested in serving us and providing good customer service. We mistakenly forgot to leave a tip upon leaving so we returned about 5 minutes later to correct the issue. We told the waitress who was unappreciative of us correcting the error. The pie was very good and return solely for that.

Service was good. Food wasn’t seasoned to my liking but it’s not terrible.
Great breakfast place! I had the avocado eggs with slow cooked grits and a buttermilk biscuit with honey. Everything was excellent!

This was our 2nd visit (the first was approximately 3-1/2 years ago). It was totally worth the return. My wife had the fried green BLT sandwich. I sampled it and was floored at the taste of the fried tomatoes and the horseradish sauce. But the star of this show is the homemade buttermilk pie. The plain pie is good, but the blueberry buttermilk pie was amazing. You've got to get off of I-20 and try this place!

My husband and I stopped in to Yesterday’s Cafe Rutledge this morning, on our way home from vacation. I can not say enough about this cafe and town, Rutledge, Ga.Everyone who walked in or out of the door spoke to us,.One gentleman in the cafe had bought a cantaloupe from another gentleman on the corner, who was selling farm fresh produce. He brought the melon into the cafe and they cut it and served to some of the guests. This only happens in small town America! My husband had the French toast (6.99) and I got the grand slam (5.99) with one blueberry pancake, one scrambled egg, 2 pieces bacon and a sausage patty. All of our food was fresh and delicious.I can’t remember our server’s name but she was friendly and informative. We will definitely be back to visit Rutledge and Yesterday’s Rutledge Cafe, making it a day trip since we are only 70+ miles away. I can’t wait to see how the gazebo-they were having a 2 day VBS there today-and town are decorated, for Christmas.I’m positive it will be BEAUTIFUL!
