We wanted a burger and this place was on the list of triple D Well we were so VERY disappointed!!! We ordered the special of pulled pork and chips and a chili cheese dog to go. We waited over half an hour for our food watching many people come after us and leave with their food. I reluctantly asked how our meal was doing and was snapped at and told it depends what you order. So we waited. Watched more people go and with huge piles of chips. Finally we got a little bag of chips, she forgot our drink, we got a dirty look and we left. The food was disgusting, like gross. Will NEVER BE BACK, Guy Fiere would be disappointed

This a great place that locals like to visit. Get good barbecue or hot dogs with a beer at a great price. The Brunswick stew was very good.

Definitely a dive bar but great food! We got brisket, ribs, and turkey and all 3 were very good. The onion rings tasted like a trip to the fair! The macaroni was really good too. The 2 sauce options are very hot or syrupy sweet, I wish they had another, something vinegar or more middle ground.

Food-- just ok Service-- great Ambiance--ok Got the 3- meat plate Pulled pork--ok Sausage--ok Brisket--ok All 3- really didn't have any real flavor, you had to add BBQ sauce for taste The brisket seemed to be over-cooked & dry I wouldn't return--it was satisfactory, nothing overwhelming--

Went at a quiet time after lunch. Wow. The BBQ was really good and the price was even better.. I had brisket and ribs. They both had a little too much fat but the flavor was great. Definitely will be back.

This place is the epitome of a hole in the wall island restaurant and always has great food when I've been (I always get carryout for work). Brisket, pulled pork, fried okra are always on point. Interaction with staff is just ordering and getting food through their window. If you drive, parking is usually a challenge--especially in summer months just based on their location not having much room. If you smell BBQ smoking on the island near the beaches it is from them (it smells great).

Tender tasty brisket with a good bark. Pulled pork was good as well as their homemade potato salad and onion rings! Will be back.

B.B.Q. If you haven't taken your fanny to Saint Simon's Island to Beachcombers; how are you living life?! I have had 2 Brisket sandwiches in 4 days! Guys, the slaw was amazing, grease the fries were cooked in was clean. The bread was crispy, yeah I said crispy! Three remaining food I had left over was also left behind by mistake! It almost started a war. Laid back vibe and great customer service!

Looking for a casual night out? Hoping to go some where with a local feel and reasonable pricing? Come over to beachcomber BBQ and enjoy delicious BBQ and a $2 beer with purchase of a meal. Granted I got a PBR and if a PBR is costing you more than $2 anywhere in the world something is going desperately wrong. Loved the beachcomber sandwich, baked beans with meat in them and the sweet potatoe puffs my wife got were an interesting delight! Thanks for a great dinner

I’ve only had the brisket and it was very tough, dry and rubbery. How? Seemed like maybe old brisket that was reheated or something. Other reviews seem favorable for everything else on the menu. Seriously, what is going on with the brisket at this place? The pit master needs to step it up.
