Went at a quiet time after lunch. Wow. The BBQ was really good and the price was even better.. I had brisket and ribs. They both had a little too much fat but the flavor was great. Definitely will be back.
This place is the epitome of a hole in the wall island restaurant and always has great food when I've been (I always get carryout for work). Brisket, pulled pork, fried okra are always on point. Interaction with staff is just ordering and getting food through their window. If you drive, parking is usually a challenge--especially in summer months just based on their location not having much room. Definitely a dive bar but great food! We got brisket, ribs, and turkey and all 3 were very good. The onion rings tasted like a trip to the fair! The macaroni was really good too. The 2 sauce options are very hot or syrupy sweet, I wish they had another, something vinegar or more middle ground.
