Hands down the best raw oysters I have ever had. The dirty oysters with caviar, sour cream, hot sauce and lemon are beckoning me to come back! Magnificent! Boil and eat shrimp was spot on! Shrimp and grits were wonderful! Come early, around 5, eat out on the deck facing the marina for a breezy, casual and coastal dinner view. Awesome experience!
As a previous restaurant owner and chef I will put this as simply as possible. we were very excited to try this restaurant and decided to have lunch there. What a big mistake that was. First off potato latkes is not fried hash browns like you would get at Waffle House, in fact Waffle House hash browns are far better and not over cooked. Second when the menu states pancakes come with fruit and whipped cream I can only expect that is what it should be served with. Not an excuse...
In St Simons Island for the night and unfamiliar with the area. Went to investigate the location of our appointment the next day and discovered Coastal Kitchen. We travel with our three small dogs, and they were welcome out on the deck, which is where we wanted to be. The young man server was very friendly and polite.
