Delicious food. The 3½-4" Crême Brulée is a MUST HAVE!!
Parking: Medium size lot shared between 2 popular restaurants with additional street parking on a heavy trafficked 2-lane road. Factor parking into your arrival/dining time.

Overall a good restaurant. A little pricey, but considering everything costs more just because its SSI its no big deal. Probably will not return until ive exhausted all other opportunities!

This is probably by far the worst restaurant on the island. For Appetizer, we went with mussels. Almost makes you believe you ordered nachos. So crunchy. Clearly not cleaned before! Main dish I had seafood pasta which was cold seafood on top of a butter noodle soup. After returning two plates of untouched food we were not even asked if anything was wrong. We paid the bill and left . We will not return again

Finally a date night away from the kids! Reservations easy to make online, check! Friday night walked in and got a table, check! Wait staff came and took our drink order, check! Drinks came right away check check!!! Ok, mix drinks not too good but thats ok, fixed that with a glass of wine. Service still very nice. The food... well that is where the stumbling began...ordered 3 appetizers (again a rare date night!) They came out timely, seared Tuna very yummy, the speical Calimari was generic and not worth the price, the shrimp and grits appetizer was so bland, dry and flavorless we had to use the salt and pepper! I should share that living in the south most of my life and it being a fav dish I know good shrimp and grits...this was not it by a long stretch....
The salad and bread. Wow how do you mess that up? The bread loaf served in a basket with cloth napkin looks cozy and yummy but then you reach for it to find it was cold, old and dry... just aweful. The salad was served in a large bowl to serve yourself which is fine but not enough veggies to share.
The entrees, well the flops kept coming...ordered the salmon speical with a side of red beans and rice. The side was tasty and plentiful. The salmon was a decent cut but not worth the price and definitely the sauce was lacking flavor and pretty much no artichokes that were suppose to the the feature with the salmon. The next entree was the signature steak and scallop teriyaki. The meat was tender and the sauce was good, but again the portions were tiny for the price. 3 oz of meat and 3 scallops! The side was garlic mash potatoes, decent flavor for the 3 tablespoons given on the plate.
The bread pudding is really the only reason you should go to Crab daddy's. Hands down awesome. I mean really awesome.
Everything else, just not worth the price....

Awesome meal on our first night of vacation. Wife and I split the Shrimp and Grits and Teriyaki Steak & Scallops. Our server Corey was great and provided some solid recommendations! Agree with the reviews that the Bread Pudding is phenomenal. Great spot, would definitely recommend. Call ahead for reservations, or check out the Barrier Island Brewery across the street while waiting on your table.

Surprised at what a great little upscale restaurant this was. Walked in without reservations (7PM on a Monday) and we're seated immediately.
The server Cheyenne, was prompt, professional, explained the drink menu, laid out the specials, and gave us enough time to peruse the menu while fetching the drinks for the table.
The peach mule was excellent, well balanced, strong enough to taste the whiskey, but sweet and flavorful enough to make an excellent pre meal cocktail.
The apps and house bread were equally well done. The wine sauce with the clams was FABULOUS!!!
The boys both had pasta dishes which knocked both their appetites in the sand. One had shrimp and sausage, the other shrimp with white sauce.
I had the mahi special, I thought the fish was a touch overcooked. That's not to say it was unpleasant, but it was a bit firm on one side that required a knife to separate the flakes. The shrimp cream sauce that accompanied the fish and overall flavor palette was on point, in
spite of my personal opinion on the timing. It certainly was not worth mentioning to the server, and I ate the entire meal.
It's my first day of 7 on the island, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

Food portions did not reflect the price.
A little seasoning on bland food could make for a better taste. Food came out quick, and the service was great. Eat here again, NAH...

Grouper was delicious but for the price I felt the crab cake was fair, highly shredded with no lumps of crab, fried artichokes were yummy, calamari was fair, scallops I felt were under cooked. At these price points I expected everything to be excellent.

We had a great date night at Crabdaddys! It is rustic and reminded us of an old sea village restaurant. Cheyenne was a soper and personable server that was very knowledgeable about the menu and the area. We enjoyed talking with her. We enjoyed the crab cake appetizer and two entrees. Red Snapper with jalapeño and roasted red pepper cream sauce and Cajun Grouper were presented beautifully and very tasty. The salad and bread were nice. We did not enjoy the sides of red beans and rice or mashed potatoes, just weren’t impressed. The bread pudding was delicious. We recommend.
