Echo is such a great please to have dinner and drinks.
My husband and I decided to step out for Christmas Eve. What. Delight this was. The atmosphere is everything you could hope it would be. It was beautiful and so magical when you opened the doors.
Their decorating and tree are one of the highlights of the hotel. We were greeted with the southern hospitality that I have come to love here.
We started off our night with a drink for both of us. I had a sparkling rose. My husband opted for his gin and tonic. I love a good rose. And this was exactly what I wanted. My husband raved about his gin and tonic. He kept saying it was the best he has had in a long time.
JD our waiter was so inviting. I don't know if I have met a better one. It almost felt like he was inviting us into his home. He spoke so kind and joked with us. He brought out our bread and spent some time with us asking about our night. He asked if our drinks were good.
We asked him for suggestions. I did not want any sauces on my platter. He suggested the redfish blackened with red beans and rice. He comes with a beautiful sauce you can drizzle over the fish. I opted to do just that. My husband decided on the filet.
Our dinner arrived exactly how we both ordered it. I don't get this alit. So this was a big deal. My first bite and all my other bites were exceptional!!! I can't convey in words how delicious and perfectly cooked this redfish was. My husband was thrilled with his fillet and mashed potatoes with broccolini. JD was involved with our meal but not bothersome. I enjoyed his playfulness. Exceptional waiter...
Thank you Echo for another Christmas eve that we will be talking about into the New Year.

First time visiting. We had the loaded nachos/chips from the bar which were OK.. little shy on the pork. For dinner we had boneless wings and the chicken alfredo. The Alfredo looked great but was probably the most Bland thing I've ever eaten in my life. Would not recommend until it tastes better than just boiled pasta.
The boneless came out cold/below room temp. Disappointed overall in the food. Service was fine. Atmosphere was great.

Beautiful beach, not very busy even on Sunday afternoon at this time of year.

This used to be our favorite place for Christmas Brunch and other events.
Last time we did Christmas Brunch in Echo was 2023 and it was great. We missed 2024 due to travel and I wished we missed this year, too.
What a sad expirience on such an import day. Food was very plain and without proper spiciness and choices were very limited, especially at that price range and the occasion. Service was slow and subpar and the only thing enjoyable was the view outside since we were sitting by the window looking at the beach. We have heard many patrons being unsatisfied and if this was another day we would just go somewhere else. We will have to think hard next year, if we are to take a chance on Christmas Brunch at Echo. Very big disappointment.

Worst Christmas Buffet ever!
We were so disappointed, not only has the price increased but the buffet shrank in half. The food was lukewarm and gross!
We come for Christmas every year and congratulations you ruined Christmas!

Lunch outside waitress Q was great they let you chill for a while before bill, too long in my opinion. Food was excellent and thought price was good for quality of food. Check came and I was told room charge, debit or credit only. I had cash they said new owners new policy no cash. Was not told this didn’t see it posted anyplace. I’m sure I’m not the only person who sometimes walks the beach, it’s a beach resort, with cash only. Please post this policy or inform patrons at seating.

Standard far and top quality cocktails in a historic beachfront hotel environment. Service was prompt, polite, expedient, and friendly with a little southern charm. Guests skewed toward the older side but the building itself was well laid out with indoor or outdoor seating, poolside or beachside views.

The food was great when they got our orders right. Couple nights ago I ordered room service and they got my order completely wrong and I was eating with some family and friends and after we ordered and got our food ( btw what we originally ordered was wrong too) the waitress asked if we wanted more develed eggs and we said no, then 5 minutes later she came walking out with some develed eggs 🤦‍♂️ just bad service over all. Food is good but you got to go through a process of dealing with people about their problems and mistakes to get it.

We had outdoor reservations and were surprised that there were no outdoor heaters. There was a band playing which was nice except the music was a little pounding for a dining experience. Out waiter brought us everything we requested but the service was very slow. The food was the biggest disappointment. It was bland land uninspired. We got the deviled egg appetizer and they were dry. The crab chowder was too salty and the spices overpowered the crab. Several people got fish tacos that were a little spicy and had very little fish. I got the red fish with the Cajun crawfish sauce. The spices overpowered the fish and the crawfish.

A great evening! The food was amazing, and the view was absolutely spectacular. The service was okay - not quite up to the level of the food and atmosphere - but the restaurant was very busy, which may have impacted it. Regardless, we will absolutely be back!

My son surprised his fiancé with a family dinner at ECHO. It was a wonderful experience with an Oceanfront view. Casual yet elegant decor. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent

Beautiful location facing the ocean. Great southern food. Loved the bread, local cheese board and everyone enjoyed their entrees. Not a fan of the Black Forest cake- too sweet

Dinner with a view and a side of Southern comfort. JD took great care of us, and the setting—complete with ocean views and warm Edison lighting—was just right. The bacon cheddar dip set the tone, the Alfredo was indulgent in the best way, and the peach crème brûlée sealed the deal. Highly recommend.
