Halyards was the perfect place to celebrate Granna's birthday with the whole family. Thomas took great care of us and the food was top notch. The hogfish special, grouper, and fried chicken were all excellent. We loved it!
Halyards is one of our favorite restaurants. We've been dining here for years. This year the service was very slow. Our party of ten included 4 children...we got drinks right away, then bread service and appetizers took close to an hour to get. Our meals were exceptionally good.
We were seated at the bar at the same time as another couple. All of us ordered at the same time. The other couple's food arrived as did my side salad. After waiting 25 minutes for our entrees, we finally asked why our food had not come. Our bartender tried to get an answer from the kitchen; but they wouldn't give him an answer.
