A relaxing delicious dinner on our first visit to King City Kitchen on SSI. Friendly, prompt service; fresh, tasty food. I kept forgetting to take pics before we dove in, everything we ordered was splendid. Cran balls, salmon (subbed the rice for potatoes), lightly blackened shrimp, & cheesecake.

We had a great first experience at KCT. The French toast is made on real challah bread (as it should be), and tasted delicious. The brown sugar shaken espresso was so so good and we had great service. The only complaint is that the portion on the eggs benedict is small for the price. Typically you get an open-faced english muffin (in this case it is a croissant) and you are served both the top and the bottom, meaning you have 2 poached eggs. At KCT you get one, which seems kind of odd and cheap.

Alison was our server and she was more than accommodating and so sweet. I got the salmon, cream cheese, and capers omelet (10/10 will get it again) and my date got the classic breakfast. The banana bread latte was in the top 5 lattes I've ever had. Would def recommend this place for a tasty brunch with friendly staff.

Had a top notch chai latte, crab cake sandwich, and seasoned fries. Everything was good but the crab cake was excellent. Nice atmosphere, very clean and well appointed. Friendly staff. One of the many places in SSI that deserves a visit.

Hands down the best steak and burger on the island! Born and raised on the island, Ive tried them all. My wife and I went a few weeks ago and I had the wagyu steak special and its the best I've ever had. Service and drinks were great too. I love watching the old island pictures that play on loop also. Great Sunday brunch too. Can't wait to go back. Take it from a local, if visiting the island you need to check out King City kitchen.

King City Kitchen is a must! The beautiful redesign sets the tone, but the food steals the show. The generously portioned blackened fish sandwich is delicious, and the shrimp salad stuffed tomato is some of the best shrimp salad I’ve ever had. My husband’s go-to is the crab benedict, always amazing. Locally family-owned, right at the pier, with friendly staff and fast service—you can’t beat it. Don’t miss this special spot!

Best burger in town!! I have spent a lifetime trying every burger on ssi, and recently was told by my dad to try kck burger that it was the best he’s had on the island. So obviously I had to try it, when it comes to burgers I’m not just some guy on the internet! The staff is warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely go back!

Amazing food - we love the selection and the delicious “twist” on old favorites. The kind of food made with love where each ingredient is spotlighted and can be tasted. The atmosphere and vibe are fresh and inviting. Great bar setup for a single meal or fun happy hour gathering. Having live music on the porch is the best - the porch dining area is the best view on the island! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive staff. Attentive, conscientious and fabulous owners.

The service at this place was utterly terrible, and I can tell it’s because of management. Servers were respectable but stressed and clearly being run ragged. I pity anyone who decides to spend their precious dollars at this joint. Truly disappointing!
