We were able to get a seat immediately. Our server was pleasant. I ordered the shrimp and grits, dirty rice, and turnips which was delicious. My friend ordered the country fried steak, red beans and rice, and squash casserole. He said the steak was kind of salty, but everything else was good. I would recommend and visit again when in the area.
Simply good food. Every item was delicious: the entrees, the sides, the tea, the complimentary breads (rolls, jalapeño cornbread, AND pumpkin bread). There are few places I've ever eaten at where the food has been all around stellar in every aspect. A must go if you can get a table! The dirty rice is a must eat side

Best restaurant in Georgia Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. I live on Saint Simons Island and eat there almost every day. Everyone from the management to the staff are hard-working, friendly and do a fantastic job. If you give it a try it will be your favorite restaurant.
