“Best restaurant in Georgia Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. I live on Saint Simons Island and eat there almost every day. Everyone from the management to the staff are hard-working, friendly and do a fantastic job. If you give it a try it will be your favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed and Barbara Jean and Jim Barta Will see to it that you are super satisfied.“

“What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious. Bon Appetit“

“Finally went to The Ocean Lodge last night with my great friend, and we were both so pleasantly surprised. The views are simply spectacular, and to be honest the food,music, and drinks were totally amazing! I was expecting very little with the food and the service, but it was phenomenal. I was very impressed and can’t wait to go back.“

“Loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked in 2/13/2026 Even though they were about to close and I was the last customer the service is something I will not forget. When I got home with my chicken, shrimp and fries I took it down through there with a smile on my face. The food was excellent!!! The prices are very good too!!! I briefly shared that i was a first time customer that live two streets over with the woman that took my order. I'll be back!!!!!!!“

“The Glynn Academy Girl's Golf Team won the 6A State Championship on Tuesday, May 17, at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. They chose to celebrate together at Marshside afterwards. Once the waitress/owner found out they were State Champs, they put all of their meals on the house. What a super generous thing for them to do to show their support for their local High School! Thank you Marshside & Go Terrors!“

“Nice beachfront place with mediocre food and solid service. Shrimp were fine, fish was mushy, and fried oysters were a soggy clump. Fries were ok, coleslaw slaw was fine but small portion, for $52. Lots of better places to go! Deviled eggs were very heavy with closing pimento cheese spread. Drinks are good, but $18 to $20. Skippable.“

“I was in Brunswick for a funeral, the repass was held at this restaurant. My wife and I truly enjoyed the meal. The place is very clean and the waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. There is a large variety of food choices: meats, vegetables, starches and desserts. The next time we our traveling from Florida going north we plan to definitely stop by Ole Time Country Buffet.“

“They have a nice variety of chicken salad to choose from. I got the Jalapeno Holly because I like spicy foods. As usual, it was delicious. I got one scoop and it comes with some crackers, a dill pickle spear and a little yummy shortbread cookie. If you want something outside of the usual fast food choices, check them out!“

“We travel and stop frequently at cracker barrel This mornings breakfast bacon was u dercooked which is usually not the case. On the other hand the cinnamon roll pie was delicious.“

they always have a pleasant inviting nature as soon as you walk in. you can tell it’s a family owned restaurant. i would definitely recommend this establishment! they definitely deserve more stars!“

“Reminded us of a Chilis. Food was fine. Service was a little slow. We ordered two meals and it took about 30 mins to get to the table. They couldn't replace the fries for onion rings. They also don't offer a military discount. The server said other locations do ,just not theirs.“
