We stopped by for an early dinner before catching a sunset. The Wharf did not disappoint. This was our first visit to Jekyll island and we enjoyed it! Thanks to Camden for great service and thanks to the staff for delicious food!

The Wharf offers a good meal with an enjoyable outdoor seating area and a fantastic location by the water. The food is generally good, and the service is very good, providing good value for the price. Recent reviews highlight that the restaurant is in a beautiful place and features a lovely waterfront view, with a lively atmosphere enhanced by live music. Guests enjoyed beers and the ambiance, though some found the oysters disappointing due to improper shucking, with shells and grit in most of them. The watermelon vinegar was praised as delightful.
The Wharf is a charming place that offers delicious vegetarian dishes like corn ribs and pimento cheese, served quickly by attentive staff. Despite occasional issues like overcooked shrimp or burger, recent visits have provided excellent service and great meals, such as shrimp & grits and shrimp roll. The shrimp roll was noted as particularly excellent, and the mac and cheese struck a perfect balance, rich and creamy. The green beans were seasoned well with just the right touch of bacon.
The Mango Cart beer on draft remains a favorite among visitors. While the restaurant can be a bit on the pricey side, the combination of setting, service, and food quality makes it well worth it. The manager was also visible and attentive, stopping by tables to ensure guests were satisfied.
