Grand Dining Room Reviews
Amazing special Easter Brunch in the historic Grand Dining Room! Full buffets including full breakfast, lunch, salads, cheeses, omlette and carving station, oysters and shrimp station with ice carving, and dessert station!
Incredible breakfast buffet. Even better attentiveness from servers/entire staff. Make sure you get an omelette from (Claude?). One of the most hospitable restaurants I’ve ever experienced.
Eating breakfast here was a glorious experience, echoing grandeur of the Gilded Age through the opulent Roaring Twenties.
My family and I had breakfast reservations for four at 8:30am on a weekday. The dining room was set to perfection as we were greeted with a welcoming smile and offered to pick any table we preferred. We selected a table by the window. It was wonderful to see a dining room set with fine China again. It seems rare nowadays.

The Grand Dining Room offers a unique dining experience within the historic hotel. The atmosphere is stunning, with a beautiful pianist and attentive staff. The buffet selection is extensive, with options ranging from cold and hot dishes to desserts. While the quality of the food can be inconsistent, the variety of options makes it easy to find something to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is a highlight, with great options like bacon and scrambled eggs. The cocktails are great, and the Barcelona-style shrimp appetizer is delicious with the freshest shrimp perfectly cooked. The fish and desserts are also praised. The service is excellent, with servers being super kind and considerate. The live music is a nice touch, and the historic location adds to the experience. However, some may find the prices a bit steep, with the Sunday buffet costing $105 per person.
