The prosciutto at the bottom of the Caprese Salad was a game-changer. For the main course, I had the Chicken Marsala, and my wife enjoyed the Shrimp Ricotta – both dishes were a perfect 10 out of 10! To top it all off, we ate the cheesecake for dessert, and it was incredibly delicious. Our server, Kyle, was very nice, attentive, and did a fantastic job making our dining experience unforgettable. “We got there about 20 minutes before closing. Normally I don’t like going to any restaurant unless it is at least 30 minutes before closing but we were starving and there weren’t a lot of choices. The waitress was so friendly, and the service was fantastic. We ordered pizza, wings and some cheese bread. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The pizza was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for pizza. I tipped the waitress 50% for being so great even though we got there so late. I will definitely be back.“

Wanted to love the seafood ravioli but it wasn't all that I expected it would be, just lacked a little flavor and for the price $35 I'd expect a little more of a serving...lastly I asked the server if they served any type of bread or hush puppies and he said yes I'll bring it shortly never did until our dinner arrived at the table so I asked again and he said I will get it now so he comes back with baskets of 3 rolls went to pay and looked at the bill, a $3 bread fee was charged?! Seriously? Not that I mind paying but atleast mention that charge when we're discussing the option of what's served prior to the meal. Surrounded by a beautiful marina with large open windows to the relaxing landscape!“

“What a beautiful place to celebrate our anniversary! This was our second trip to Sea Island, our first being last February when we stayed at the Cloisters. Wonderful accommodations in a magnificant building. On that stay we played golf on each of their 3 fabulous championship courses. Hence, the reason for our return trip 5 months later. On this trip we decided to spend three days at the Lodge, located right next to two of the three golf courses and adjacent to St. Simons Sound. The grounds were beautiful and the service exceptional. Our room overlooked the golf course and was spacious, beautifully decorated and included special touches to make us feel comfortable and pampered. The staff was very friendly and all seemed to know we were celebrating our 39th anniversary. In fact, one evening when we returned to the room there was a bottle of wine and a plate with 7- huge chocolate covered strawberries. Boy did my wife love that! What a nice touch to a beautiful evening. We had our anniversary dinner in their renowned steak house (Colt & Alison) and enjoyed a perfect meal with superb top shelf service. And - a surprised anniversary dessert! Remember to wear a jacket. I forgot mine and was given one to wear, in my exact size. The Lodge has a beautiful open seating area which resembles an old English manor. Each evening we sat outside and were entertained by their bagpiper who performs at sunset. Naturally, we got to play the courses again and as expected, they were in fantastic shape. Each course was pristine, with manicured greens, white fluffy sand and a green carpet fairway. Our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to stay in a Five-star award offering world-class accommodations and golf on three beautiful Championship courses. Vegetarian options: There are many dishes that are meatless, ie cheese enchiladas, cheese quesadillas, street corn, Mexican salad, Nachos Supremos (sans the meat choice). Options are pretty good here as most dishes *could* be tweaked to be made vegetarian as well.

Anyone needing amazing service , especially for large groups, need look no further than Sago, especially if you call ahead and request Reshada. Reshada is a professional server through and through. She seems to inspire excellence from the rest of the staff as well, always appearing the instant you remember something you needed. Thank you for such a pleasant dining experience, Sago and Reshada!“
