“It is our first time as a family here in St. Simon’s island and our first time at Crabdaddy’s. I wanna shout out to our superb waitress Bella! She was amazing, lovely and took great care of us and made our experience there the best! Always on point with the refills and anything we needed! My mom had the blackened shrimp with grits, my step-dad had the seafood pasta and I had grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and crab cakes. Props to the chef because that food was BOMBIN’! The crab cakes were the best I’ve ever eaten along with the dill sauce! My mom found the portion sizes for the shrimp and grits to be just right for her. While my step-dad didn’t care for the sauce in the pasta, he enjoyed it overall. Thank you Crabdaddy’s for a classy and 5-Star seafood dining experience!🦀🩷✨“

My girl had a tiny run-in with a beam (because… kids 😅), and before I could even gather myself, the owner was right there checking on her and on me. That kind of care says everything. Great food. “We went to Fancy Q Sushi Bar based on some local recommendations, and it did not disappoint. They may have the longest list of specialty sushi rolls I’ve ever seen. If you can’t find something you like here, you probably don’t like sushi rolls. We also had traditional nigiri and sashimi, and everything was very good.

The chicken udon was another highlight. It was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and the kitchen was pretty quick.

The big surprise was dessert. Our server recommended the fried Oreos, and even though none of us were hungry, we gave them a try. They were tremendous. You would never think you’d find the best fried Oreos of your life at a local sushi restaurant, but here we are.“

“My girlfriend and I were traveling back from Daytona 500. We explored the beach on a windy February day and decided to go check out the downtown area and look for lunch. We stumble into this place and we both order burgers. I ordered the black and blue burger and she ordered the cheese burger and sweet potato fries. All we talked about on our drive back was how great the burger was. It had amazing flavor inside and out. Perfectly cooked. Definitely one of the best flavored burgers we ever had. If we make it back south and need a lunch spot, I will be stopping back.“

“We got there about 20 minutes before closing. Normally I don’t like going to any restaurant unless it is at least 30 minutes before closing but we were starving and there weren’t a lot of choices. The waitress was so friendly, and the service was fantastic. We ordered pizza, wings and some cheese bread. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The pizza was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for pizza. I tipped the waitress 50% for being so great even though we got there so late. I will definitely be back.“

“What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious. Bon Appetit“

I began with a smoked old-fashioned, perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness and smoke, a cocktail that sets a sophisticated tone for the evening. The cabbage cream soup followed, delicate and velvety, demonstrating both restraint and depth of flavor. The highlight, however, was the Friday night prime rib special—expertly prepared, tender, and seasoned to perfection.

Midway through my meal, Chef Chris personally stopped by to ensure everything was to my liking and graciously offered a side of his signature Brussel sprouts, which were outstanding—caramelized, savory, and elegantly presented.
