“I stopped in on my way out of Jekyll Island while I was here on vacation. Absolutely amazing. My server Anna was fantastic - so friendly and attentive! I had my two small dogs with me and they were immediately so welcoming. By far the best part is that they have a screened in outdoor shaded porch and you can see the ocean. It made everything just so much more enjoyable for me and my pups. I got oysters, which are some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m from New England. And I also had the crab legs which were phenomenal. Genuinely very kind staff and so accommodating for my pups. Made sure they had water and even gave them some little pup cups to enjoy! Highly recommend stopping here if you’re ever on Jekyll Island“

Salmon katsu was much better with a lot more flavor in the fish.

“My husband and I did the Sunday rum tour and tasting (2:30 pm) that was conducted by Martyn.

We had to wait about 10 minutes as he was finishing up a tasting with a group of five. There was another couple for the tour, and Martyn welcomed us and then began our tour.

Martyn was an excellent tour guide and walked us through the rum making experience and allowed us to sniff and taste along the way.
Richland Rum is a single-estate rum, meaning that everything for the rum is grown and done in Georgia. The process begins on the Richland farm in Richland, GA where all of the sugarcane is grown. That is the only sugarcane used in their Richland rums. After the sugar cane is harvested, it is taken to one of the distilleries and the sugar cane is turned into pure sugar cane syrup. After this, the yeast is added and the fermentation process begins. Once it is ready, it then goes into the distillation process, which is where it is turned into rum. After it becomes rum, it is placed into American-made white oak barrels, where it ages for various times, depending upon which Richland Rum it is slated to become. Once it comes out of the barrels, it is ready for bottling and labeling.

Once we concluded the tour, we were able to taste five varieties of their Richland rum, ranging from a white rum best used for mixed drinks to the darkest rum, which is best used for sipping. In addition, we got to taste two mixed drinks made with their rum, as well as their Richland Satsuma orange rum liqueur, which is a sipping liqueur.

We had a great time, learned about making rum, and got to taste some really good rums.

Bottles are available for purchase. Remember...it is only available in Georgia, so if you like it, you should buy some at the end of your tour.

Once the waitress/owner found out they were State Champs, they put all of their meals on the house. What a super generous thing for them to do to show their support for their local High School! “My girlfriend and I were traveling back from Daytona 500. We explored the beach on a windy February day and decided to go check out the downtown area and look for lunch. We stumble into this place and we both order burgers. I ordered the black and blue burger and she ordered the cheese burger and sweet potato fries. All we talked about on our drive back was how great the burger was. It had amazing flavor inside and out. Perfectly cooked. Definitely one of the best flavored burgers we ever had. If we make it back south and need a lunch spot, I will be stopping back.“

“Me and my husband have ate here on several occasions and the service is outstanding along with the food. We drive about an hour to get there, but it’s well worth the drive every time. We highly recommend trying their build your own pizzas along with their already deliciously made menu items. We’ve tried several of their items and it’s always delicious! We love the feel of this little pizza diner. Just looking at all the old rock and roll vinyl records on the wall will take you back in time and you’ll start reminiscing about the old times growing up listening to what we like to call real music. Because back then it was real raw talent, which was the best music.“

“These are righteous buffalo style wings. Cooked perfectly by Eric and topped with an amazing X-tra hot sauce….mmmm. My brother and I were craving wings on a cold Tuesday night in January so we popped in and ordered away. Man, were they good.

This place has a robust takeout business. It was nonstop while we were there of people coming in and picking up their orders. However, I would recommend eating them there so you can get them hot and steamin’ and fresh, and delivered to your table by Eric.

So much better here than at the Target Plaza location. This one downtown is consistently great and you will not find “jumbo wings” here cause any true wing connoisseur knows that wings ain’t supposed to be jumbo. I challenge you to find a better chicken wing in North Florida or South Georgia.

Everything was seasoned well too perfection and I’ve really appreciated that amount of effort that went into what they did for a takeout order with the seafood combo. I got generous portion of fresh catch flounder for the day, grilled shrimp, and fried oysters everything and I do mean everything was so wonderful. It was melting in the mouth good even the tartar sauce was good. It was a little pricey at $39 but you get what you pay for and I paid for what I got and when I got was so so good definitely would go back if I was ever in the area again five stars“
