We were in the area looking for a quick take-out spot and ended up here. The staff was very welcoming and the food was awesome! Even my 2 little picky eaters left no crumbs, lol. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely return.
Eating on St. Simon’s Island can be quite expensive, unless you come to Bubba Garcia’s. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. My wife had the Steak Quesadilla and I had the Shrimp Fajitas . Both of our dishes came with rice, black beans and salad, with sour cream and Pico de gallo. I dined in and had an AMAZING Tostadas Locas. The server was a chill guy who made sure we had drinks and everything was good. The next day, I got the same thing carry-out, and it was not great. There was no queso, no guac, no sour cream, and hardly any shreded cheese. I understand if you dont put these things on directly to make sure the tostada doesn't get soggy, but at least put it on the side. Great place if you want eat-in, NOT if you want to carry-out.
