“Not an overrated tourist destination. The olde pink house is a must try during your trip to Savannah. Serving up southern classics the food is amazing.Starting off with the homemade cheddar sticks. That are crispy and delicious. We ordered the homemade pink lemonade which was light, refreshing and not too sweet. We decided to be adventurous and try the shrimp and grits sushi roll. It did not disappoint, savory and salty it was everything I needed. The strawberry arugula salad was nice and light. We were able to split in two and it was the perfect size.Max's friend chicken comes and half a chicken, but you're able to ask for pieces which is great. I got just the dark meat and it was the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Perfectly crunchy and moist. The Mac and cheese had a nice oven baked top with a gooey center.“
“My wife and I went for a unique dining experience and we got it. They had various types of game meat available We had the venison and duck and the meal was exquisite. Service was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. Not too loud or noisy“
“Excellent restaurant in Savannah! Whenever we have brought our guests on the Flavors Food Tours in Savannah culinary walk they have been greeted with Southern charm, sat quickly and provided excellent service and food! The quality of the food and drinks is what keeps impressing me and our guests. highly recommend Husk!“
“We enjoyed the food here. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and kind. Gluten free items are marked.FYI, Even though it's on the river, the main restaurant is upstairs, so you don't exactly get a water view. We sat outside but it was in the back of the restaurant facing the inner street.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“The food here is delicious, but their prices are ridiculously high. Service was great and the waitress we had was amazing, but the additions of being exceptionally kind and having good food is not enough to make us desire to come again on my budget. I literally spent over $100 for 3 small meals and 3 regular drinks. I guess you could say that this was fine dining at it's best, and people should know that this is not a place for those who are living on a budget, but it was a great experience.Parking: It's very difficult to park in this area, but Sunday gives you a break on paying.“
“I went with my sisters and my mom to this restaurant on our girls trip. It was amazing!! First, they remembered my name from when I made a reservation in person and greeted me right when I walked in. The staff was so incredibly sweet. They went above and beyond to make our experience great. They had a wonderful mock-tail menu and the bartender made sure to tell us all about them. Get all the veggies! They were amazing! My sister is gluten free, and they were very accommodating for her. The staff was very involved with serving us, always making sure we were well attended to. They were also great at conversation. I thought I lost my camera, so I went back and every server tried to help me find it. I could not say enough about how kind they were to us. Friendly staff, great drinks, very clean, and amazing food! We will definitely be coming back!“
“Stopped here with a tour and was thoroughly surprised by how good the food was.Though seafood is their specialty the Cuban sandwich was calling my name and after reassurance from the waitress I ordered it and I'm glad I got it.The meat was so tender and not too salty like a lot of places. The homemade chips were nice and crispy. The fried oyster sandwich has the perfect fry.“
“My 4 star rating is not to say that the quality or taste of the food wasn't great. It's more about the limited selection of the menu. We were a group of 4 and really had a challenge to order something we were familiar or preferred. So, not any fault of the restaurant, but our mistake perhaps in not doing the research.“
“Food was wonderful and the service perfect. The standouts were the brisket, fried shrimp and oysters, brussel sprouts, Cole slaw, gumbo and crab stew. So, basically everything we ordered! I actually ordered the slaw but once my husband tasted it and liked it so much he took it from me.Also shout out to Jamal our waiter. Great recommendations from him.“
“We were in Savannah for St Patrick’s Day & looking for a good soul food restaurant. We searched & stumbled onto 2 Chefs Gullah Geechee Soul Food. The food was awesome. I had the red rice, collards, Mac & cheese & fried fish. We really enjoyed our meals & we will definitely be back next time we visit Savannah.“
“We had dinner here our first night in Savannah based on a recommendation. I had some local beers along with crab stuffed flounder for a meal. I’d definitely get this again. We also had a bowl of lobster bisque that was very good. Others in our group got sandwiches and an Alfredo pasta. Everyone was happy with their meals. All hit the spot.“
“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“
“We read all the reviews and had to go see for ourselves . It is a very common place. What? I like to call hole in the wall. Nothing elaborate family owned and operated, Real plain jane. That is until the food gets to your table, that Is where the fun begins . The French toast, I believe, should be renamed, Cinnamon bun french toast. It was the best French toast, hands down, I've ever had. You can eat it without the syrup. I had the link sausage, sliced And pan fried, I could not eat it fast enough. The eggs were perfectly cooked to my order and golden crispy hash browns. My wife ordered a vegetable omelet. Which, she said, was the best she has ever had, which came with hash browns and the largest, fluffiest ,lightest biscuit ever...I can't wait to return and try their gravy dishes. I would give this restaurant a six, if the review would allow just on food quality and taste alone“
“This restaurant was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was informative and attentive and made sure we always had whatever we wanted. The atmosphere is great and restaurant was clean and fun to be in from start to finish. I loved the overall atmosphere because they have made it so you have privacy with your group but there is still a larger experience of the restaurant. The drinks and bartender was fantastic and efficient! The food was also amazing! I had a series of oysters as an appetizer and then a scallop risotto that was perfectly cooked. I am Italian and super picky when it comes to risotto and this was great risotto. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband got a chicken Caprese which is a somewhat lighter version of chicken parm and it was flavorful and light and tender. Dessert was also fantastic. I cannot wait to come back here!“

“Omg, we visit this place and we absolutely LOVE IT, love the energy of the people working here, the customer service is A+, the food was amazing we love everything. Highly recommend this place ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️“
“Awesome experience. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was cute. I had the crab cake Benedict and my daughter had the traditional eggs Benedict (she had poured pepper all over it in the picture, didn’t come like that lol). Both were absolutely amazing and flavorful. Only thing that was a slight disappointment was the French onion soup. Not very flavorful in comparison to the main courses:)“
“I stop and get a biscuit at all my vacation spots if I'm able. Baby, this is definitely up there as one of my top biscuits. Buttery, soft, crisp exterior that was the perfect vessel for my bacon, egg and cheese. A side a fresh squeezed orange juice completed my fulfilling quick breakfast. In a lively atmosphere, I got there early to avoid the lines. Get your favorite superpower ready and hit up this spot.“
“My grandma and me went today for lunch and it was amazing! We both decided to have the fried shrimp. ? Everything was fresh and delicious. The tartar sauce was great, the small biscuits are so good. Sweet tea is definitely made right for the south. She had cheese grits and a sweet potato, and I had garlic mashed potatoes and side salad with ranch. All amazing. My grandaughter enjoyed the music and so did we. Alyssa Edwards your place is awesome! Our server Karleigh was so sweet. Sweet Potatoes Kitchen“
“Hats off to the manager! What an awesome place, great food, atmosphere and staff!!! Our food took longer than we had hoped but the manager didn’t hesitate and made it right with his outstanding customer service!! Definitely recommend this place and will return on my next trip!“
“Just ate at this location and I’ve never ever such good food from this place - I go to the one in Pooler and they can’t even compare to this Savannah location! The manager was very present and so sweet, The staff was very well spoken and very polite! 1000/10 will recommend this location over any other location - Definitely worth the 30 minute drive.“
“Not one thing to deride. The waiting area was expansive a nicely appointed. The hostess seated us ahead of time. Our server, Haliegh was spectacumous and the food was some of the best I've enjoyed in Savannah. Great atmosphere and weren't rushed. Well done.“
“This has been by far our best dining experience in Savannah!!! The food was DELICIOUS! The staff is super friendly and personable. Was so much fun meeting people from different parts of the country. It’s a must if you are in the area. Outside Erin gave up so much interesting history while we waited to be seated. And Marcia was the absolute sweetest. They treat everyone like family.“
