The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!“

Made a real change from the overly sweet and overly fried food most restaurants in the USA tend to serve. The place is not fancy - plastic cutlery and you eat from polystyrene cartons - but is very clean, light and so homely. We LOVED it and wish our gorgeous hostesses every success for the future.“

Our pups devoured their pup cups, and the spike apple cider and nachos were simply perfect. Huge shoutout to Tara, Pais, Saleh, and Sienna, with Tara especially who lost track of time chatting with us and stayed past her shift (you know it’s good conversation when that happens 😄). “TL/ DR - a true 5* property & experience. Room, cleanliness, service, on site dining.

At check-in June 3, 2026: Carolina was very thoughtful in explaining the property— 3 buildings— and the corresponding property map. We were pleased with room placement with balcony in furthest east Bldg (3Muses). We were advised water-facing rooms can be noisy.

On that note, by the third and final night, Friday, this past weekend, we learned that the cobblestone street outside was quite noisy as well. Fortunately, on weekend, just after midnight, revelry noise level moves down from the billiard Halls across from our room. (Ear plugs were furnished in the room :-) Even so, we enjoyed the balcony for the mornings and pre-dinner hour: it was ambience into our room as we were getting ready for our various comings/goings.

The pool featured brrrrr water; not yet nuked by summer’s power! But it was enjoyable for a refresh. It got unbelievably crowded on Friday afternoon, so glad we generally came earlier in the day.

Fortunately my work Conference: buffet style food supplied by JW was above-average, 4* food for Conference food (3* if judged on its own merit). But we enjoyed the on-site dining from which we tried small plates from the African restaurant, fish at the seafood bar outside the main building; my wife enjoyed the breakfast dishes from the coffee shop in the main building.

This is a special property. Enjoy the artwork and the unique character of each building. So much to see as meandering. Friendly Service top to bottom. Employees seem to value their jobs and our patronage. Would return without hesitation.“

“We had such an amazing experience celebrating my friends birthday at this rooftop bar! Even though the weather wasn’t the best, the staff was accommodating and made sure we were still comfortable and able to enjoy our time. Our main server, Teresa, was absolutely wonderful, beautiful, friendly, attentive, and so helpful throughout the time we spent there. She also gave us some great recommendations for local bars in the area, which made for a great place to go when they had to close due to lightning.
We’d also love to thank Melissa and Israel for helping us and making sure we are having a good time. The entire team went out of their way even when busy to make our time feel special. We had a great time, took some great pictures and would definitely recommend this rooftop bar to anyone visiting the area! “What a neat food court! I have never been to one like this before. You enter one way and they open a tab for you. You go through the food court and order what you want. And when you exit, that’s when you pay your tab. I will say with that method, it’s easy to spend money here. We went to 3 different restaurants and none of them told us our total. Just said they added it to the tab. Granted, we could have asked. We ordered from bowties and the food was fresh & hot. Beware it does have a tang to it. Maybe lime or vinegar? I’m glad I tried it but I would not order it again. This juice on the other hand was delicious! It did cost $10 for a 12 oz. I was hesitant spending that much on juice. But it’s actually very filling. I drank about 1/3 of it over 3 days. I’d definitely recommend it!“

“Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. She put the chorizo in a small bowl in case it was spicy. I mentioned that I couldn’t do spicy. I appreciated her thoughtfulness. Even the shrimp had a wonderful flavor. My husband and son shard a gnocchi dish. They really liked it. I thought the atmosphere was perfect. We ate inside. This was our first time here and The Public Kitchen and Bar get a 10+ from me.“

“The Wyld Dock Bar was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Savannah! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing outstanding service from start to finish. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly, yet every dish tasted fresh and expertly prepared. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the fish dip was the perfect appetizer to kick off our meal, and the crispy shrimp was hands down the best I’ve ever had!

As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I especially appreciated seeing Athletic non-alcoholic beer on the menu. It’s always refreshing when a restaurant offers great options for everyone.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with plenty of parking, spotless restrooms, and stunning waterfront views that make you want to linger. In fact, we were so comfortable enjoying the atmosphere that we stayed almost 45 minutes after we finished dinner, simply soaking it all in.

We can’t wait to return in August! The Wyld Dock Bar has officially earned a permanent spot on our “When in Savannah…MUST STOP!” list. If you’re looking for amazing food, exceptional service, and a relaxing waterfront dining experience, don’t miss this gem.“
