Staff did a wonderful job during the Valentine’s Day rush! Super unique menu with lots of options. I wanted to try one of everything 😍. Will revisit next time I’m in Savannah!

The Laundry Diner is a great little old school diner with a really pretty, sunny room and a few different seating areas. The food is good and sometimes fantastic, with an inspired menu. Specific standout dishes include the short rib hash bowl, the fried chicken sandwich, the fried pickles, biscuit and gravy, waffle and bacon, and gingerbread cake. The coffee is outstanding and the floats are also loved. The staff is consistently noted as friendly, accommodating, sweet, professional, and on point, contributing to a hopping atmosphere.
The experience can vary. Some find it a top notch spot with reasonably priced, spot-on food, becoming a regular weekend visit. For others, the prices seem high with small portions for diner food, and the service, while alright, is not exceptional. It attracts both loyal locals and in-the-know tourists, often providing one of the best meals of a trip. The vibe suggests it is a place for a beer with friends, though food remains a central draw for many. It is a short distance from Downtown Savannah and is definitely worth a trip over to check it out.
