“My husband and I lived in Scotland for three years. We absolutely loved going for high tea. We have tried three different places for high tea since moving back to the US and all three were so disappointing. Today we decided to give Gryphon a try and we were not disappointed! I had the cinnamon tea and it was wonderful! We loved all the sandwiches and desserts. The clotted cream and the scone was the closest to Scotland that we have had in the US. “Quinn's is not flashy but the food is exceptional! The food was wonderful, fresh, delicious. The staff is energetic, friendly and capable. The cooks do an excellent job. Eating here (twice) was honestly one of the highlights of our Savannah visit (and we did a LOT while we were here). When we are next ANYWHERE near Savannah, we'll make a trip to Quinn's for the pleasure of revisiting what feels like an old friend. Quinn, the owner, works just as hard as the rest of the staff. Everyone we saw was constantly moving. Think "whirling dervishes!" On our first visit, we saw a wide variety of customers-business people, tourists, locals, singles, couples, groups. I didn't notice anyone that seemed unhappy and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the visit. On our second visit, we made it a point to be the first ones in the restaurant (which opens at 0630 but Tripadvisor wouldn't let me put in that time). We arrived probably at 0633 and soon after a steady stream of people (most likely locals) came in to start their day. Although they were constantly on the go, the staff somehow managed to carve out time to talk with us, talk about the business and generally engage. Amazing and such an absolute refreshing touch! We had the definite pleasure of being one of the first customers for one of Quinn's relatives (also an interesting story). She was very new to the electronic order system but Quinn was patient and our server was diligent making sure everything was correct. Quinn is clearly a "hands on" owner. She and her entire staff seem to enjoy what they do and take great pride in providing excellent service and food. Our dining experience was an absolute pleasure. Bottom line: Go to Quinn's - excellent food, exceptional service, fantastic atmosphere and overall a wonderful experience. I hope Quinn's Breakfast and Lunch continues to enjoy phenomenal success!“

“Definitely not a place for a picky eater, but the food was excellent. The collards were off the hook ???!!! I had the French dip flat bread and a side of crisps (flat fries), but tasty. My wife had the deep fried chicken pot pie w/o the pico de gallo. She is use to “old fashioned” pot pie, but she ate outside her comfort zone.“

“Tucked away off abercorn is one of (if not) THEE, best burgers in Savannah. My only issue is how small the area is and you may have difficulty parking. French fries are THICC and crispy, burger is seasoned and cooked exceptionally. If I wasn’t bringing food home for my family I could’ve spent hours there sitting at the bar and enjoying myself. Laughed with strangers both bartenders were friendly food came out pretty quick. What an amazing hiding spot. I’m definitely coming back. Oh and the prices are good.“

“Our third year at Creekfire. It's absolutely wonderful having a dining area in the property to go to. The food is delicious and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special (I even had happy birthday sung to me by a trained opera singer two years ago!!)

We've enjoyed several meals there, highly recommend the fish. We have only had issues with one meal and the staff went above and beyond to rectify the problem.

“I’m traveling, staying in local hotel. I was in the mood for a burger, but not an average one. I ordered online. It was done exactly when it was supposed to be. And the burger was delicious. I’ll be returning tomorrow to try something else.“

“I happened to find out about this place when our trolley tour operator pointed it out - specifically, the fact that it is staffed by all special needs employees. We just had to give it some love, so we went by the next morning. It was such a great atmosphere, and I love the concept (I looked it up, and it looks like it's now franchised out across the country). “This was our first time eating there, since we don’t live in Savannah. Great and friendly staff! Our waitress Nia, greeting was warm, friendly and inviting! She gave wonderful service with a smile! The food was delicious and didn’t take long to come to our table. Giving a rate of 1-10… 10 for service, (Nia was fantastic) 9 over all for our food because the eggs and potatoes were warm not hot… but the cinnamon roll pancakes were a 10, 8 for the location due to the parking lot being small and we had to park at another restaurant next door. “The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“
