“Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. She put the chorizo in a small bowl in case it was spicy. I mentioned that I couldn’t do spicy. I appreciated her thoughtfulness. Even the shrimp had a wonderful flavor. My husband and son shard a gnocchi dish. They really liked it. I thought the atmosphere was perfect. We ate inside. This was our first time here and The Public Kitchen and Bar get a 10+ from me.“

I appreciate that you can order & pay ahead for a 4-pack and just swing by to pick it up if you don’t wanna be in the public for long. The staff are always friendly & welcoming. Such a chill spot!“

“This was our first time eating there, since we don’t live in Savannah. Great and friendly staff! Our waitress Nia, greeting was warm, friendly and inviting! She gave wonderful service with a smile! The food was delicious and didn’t take long to come to our table. Giving a rate of 1-10… 10 for service, (Nia was fantastic) 9 over all for our food because the eggs and potatoes were warm not hot… but the cinnamon roll pancakes were a 10, 8 for the location due to the parking lot being small and we had to park at another restaurant next door. Would we go back to eat here…. Absolutely!! Thanks for a great dining experience!“

Food was excellent, not breaded too heavily and drinks were good. Pleasantly surprised with our visit here and would recommend, try it out for yourself.“

“I visited on Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful experience. The cashier was welcoming, the food was served hot and fresh, and my server was very friendly. The restrooms, condiment area, and drink station were all well-maintained and organized. There was plenty of parking, no long lines, and the meal prices were quite affordable. The location is pleasant and secluded, and the grounds were kept clean.“

“We had Averee as our server and she was awesome. My wife and I came to Savannah after years of living out of state, we came for vacation to see family and are staying at a hotel close by. Normally, services isn't extremely outstanding these days.But Averee was amazing. She was friednly, timely, and super accommodating. Great experience and will definitely be coming back to this area next time we visit.“

“Semi regular customers. On 11/2/25 stopped for lunch. Ordered bacon cheeseburger, and onion rings. Husband ordered chili dog. We waited well over 30 minutes to receive our order. Know a burger takes a bit of time, however, the onion rings were so salty as to be non edible, and tough. Be awhile before we go back“

“Yolanda waited on us today. She was working the counter and drive thru by herself. I know it had to be stressful but she greeted us with a smile on her face and remained pleasant the whole time.
