Then I got to experience someone who must be the queen of customer service Carmen! She sure knows how to make a guy from out of town feel welcome.“

“Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. She put the chorizo in a small bowl in case it was spicy. I mentioned that I couldn’t do spicy. I appreciated her thoughtfulness. Even the shrimp had a wonderful flavor. My husband and son shard a gnocchi dish. They really liked it. I thought the atmosphere was perfect. We ate inside. This was our first time here and The Public Kitchen and Bar get a 10+ from me.“

“My husband and I love Rachel's. When looking at homes a year ago in Georgetown we stopped in and Pat waited on us. We fell in love with the staff, drinks and food!! It's quickly become a go to for us! We love all the girls and Pat! I never do reviews but last night my jerk chicken was so good! I inhaled it and couldn't stop raving about it!“

“We originally planned on a different restaurant but didn't want to wait 90 MINUTES for dinner. Spanky's had no wait. And guess what. We loved it! Great chicken tenders, fabulous fish and chips (extra good chips, more like fried smashed potatoes), perfect iced tea, large portions, very friendly service, open and comfortable atmosphere. “Food was nothing special. Had to send one of the meals back because it was totally unacceptable. They were surprised it was served like that and did apologize for it and made it right. By the time they brought it back, though, the rest of us were done with our meals.“

I appreciate that you can order & pay ahead for a 4-pack and just swing by to pick it up if you don’t wanna be in the public for long. The staff are always friendly & welcoming. Such a chill spot!“

“This was our first time eating there, since we don’t live in Savannah. Great and friendly staff! Our waitress Nia, greeting was warm, friendly and inviting! She gave wonderful service with a smile! The food was delicious and didn’t take long to come to our table. Giving a rate of 1-10… 10 for service, (Nia was fantastic) 9 over all for our food because the eggs and potatoes were warm not hot… but the cinnamon roll pancakes were a 10, 8 for the location due to the parking lot being small and we had to park at another restaurant next door. Would we go back to eat here…. Absolutely!! Thanks for a great dining experience!“

“Yolanda waited on us today. She was working the counter and drive thru by herself. I know it had to be stressful but she greeted us with a smile on her face and remained pleasant the whole time. “Semi regular customers. On 11/2/25 stopped for lunch. Ordered bacon cheeseburger, and onion rings. Husband ordered chili dog. We waited well over 30 minutes to receive our order. Know a burger takes a bit of time, however, the onion rings were so salty as to be non edible, and tough. Be awhile before we go back“

“After a long day's drive and finding out that our hotel restaurant was closing early and only 10 minutes until another restaurant closed, we found Applebee's. The manager was super attentive as soon as we walked thru the door and until we left. Our server, Patrice, was amazing and attentive and made my hangry teenage girl a happy kid. Food was fine, but the service was outstanding.“
