The salad my wife ordered was fantastic as well, but it was on the menu as gluten-free but had regular croutons in it, which have gluten. Small detail, no biggie. Great food and very fast. The inside of the restaurant has been updated since our last visit. The bar area changed, and there is now a waiting area next to the door. We were seated right away, and our server was there quickly to take our drink order. She was very friendly and helpful. She returned with our drinks quickly and took our meal order. The food arrived promptly and was visually appealing and warm. We both ordered the Chickadee. This dish includes skinless chicken breast, Gouda cheese, bacon, green beans, flatbread, ranch dressing, mushrooms, and cooked spinach. The chicken was tender and juicy. The cheese was creamy with great taste and texture. The bacon had a good bacon taste. It was not crisp but was fully cooked. The green beans were more firm but not excessively hard or raw. The flatbread was warm as a base for the food. The ranch dressing drizzle added extra flavor to the dish. The mushrooms were firm with good texture. The cooked spinach adds flavor as well as extra nutrients. Our server checked back frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. This was another enjoyable lunch.“

We came down from NY to see Savannah (I had been before, my wife had not) and were looking for a place to grab a bite as we strolled along River St. We stopped randomly at Lizzie's. We were seated on the small balcony on a beautiful spring day and watched the local foot traffic while we ate. We both had burgers and fries and were happy with our meals. Tasty food and appropriate portion. I forget our server's name but she was a lovely, friendly girl who treated us very well and was soon to have a baby. I hope she has a healthy, happy little one!
