“It was so good! We did the demo lesson for Girl Scouts and we got to make lemonade popsicles and we also got to pick an other one! They were so nice and made everyone welcome! :)Dietary restrictions: My friend is allergic to peanuts and she could have it and she enjoyed it very much!“
“Must stop for ice cream lover. When flying in or out of Savannah Airport. This is the outpost of the famous Savannah Shop.Generations of Savannahians have loved Leopold’s Ice CreamLeopold’s Ice Cream was founded in 1919 by three brothers from Greece. They learned the art of candy and dessert making from an uncle who had already settled in America. George, Peter and Basil Leopold perfected their secret formulas and created the now world famous Leopold’s Ice Cream. The brothers opened their ice cream parlor on the corner of Gwinnett and Habersham streets in Savannah, where two streetcar lines intersected. Many a rider would jump off the streetcar and entreat the motorman to wait as they got a frozen delight!“
“A friend told me that I had to try Rita's, so I had the chocolate custard. It was delicious! My boyfriend had the Concrete Reese's Mudslide with hot fudge in the middle, it was also very tasty. The girl behind the counter was super sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Tybee area.“
“Think of Doki Doki like an upscaled version of Coldstone Creamery. Rich flavor, lots of variety (gelato and other small sweets), with some interesting offerings (ever heard of pepper ice cream?). The best part is this beautiful mural done in the shop by the Savannah famous Julu herself. The business is made with a lot of creativity and love from some SCAD students.“
“Today as a treat to my son we went to get some Italian ice, ended up being a treat for him, my husband and myself. Was extremely yummy! They were super friendly and it was clean. Italian ice is one of my son’s favorites, so we will most definitely be returning!“
“I have never written a review in my life but the service here is incredible. I came in with a couple friends close to when they were closing. Debra helped me so much and was so friendly. We ended up taking for about 15 minutes and it was the most pleasant experience I had all day.“
“This is my favorite candy store in Savannah!! The free tastings, barrel candy and the flavors used are incredible.Definitely a stop in Every Savannah trip!!Kid-friendliness: I used to take my boys here and let them pick 1 piece of candy for each year of age they were. They loved it and we would go for a “boat” ride on the transfer boat around the Savannah River for free! It is a perfect day with kids!!“
“To walk through Savannah’s Candy Kitchen is an experience in itself! Grab a praline sample on the way in and be prepared to ooh and ahh your way through the store! The chocolate pecan clusters with caramel are to die for. There is something for every sweet tooth here!“
“Super cute shop! Not just macarons but hand crafted chocolates. A few eclairs. Chocolates were almost too gorgeous to eat. Almost. Will answered every question I had and genuinely seemed to like the products. $2.50 for a piece of chocolate and they also sell by the half dozen and dozen.“
“Tia at the Ben & Jerry’s on Broughton Street has amazing customer service. I went the weekend of St. Patrick’s Day and of course it was extremely busy. She kept a smile on her face the entire time and was so nice/helpful to every person that walked through the door. 10/10 service Tia!“
“If you are looking for a unique ice cream and milkshake store in Savannah, make sure you stop into Locally Made Savannah! It's located on Broughton Street and they have a wide variety of specialty milkshakes and ice cream. A fun spot to take kids or cool off from the summer heat.I tried the The Tybee Shark Attack milkshake and it was SO GOOD.“
“So the line was long, it took is about 30 minutes to get in the door. The ice cream was good but the service could have been better. There were 5 of us trying to get ice cream, one person tried to take our order, didn't write anything down. 3 of us got the wrong stuff and 1 person they didn't get anything for him at all. After we told them again, they got busy and didn't make it again. So everyone was able to finish their ice cream before our 5 person even go there's. I feel like the line would go faster if it was one server per person. Get you in and our rather then waiting and forgetting and getting busy doing something else.“
