A regular stop when in Savannah. Peanutbutter chippy is my favorite. Of course, the hot fudge brownie Sunday is a close second. If there is a line and you want a pint, you can go straight to the back freezer and take your pick of flavors.Parking: Metered street parking until 8pm. Paid lots and garages all around.
A friend from Savannah told us about Leopold’s so we had to try it out. There was a long line and we are not opposed to waiting in line for great food! The ice cream was delicious ….creamy and smooth with lots of flavor. We had thin mint and cream and coffee. Both scoops were really good.Would have loved to give 5 stars but the service was dreadfully slow. This could be the southern pace and since we are from NY we like things snappy! Love the ice cream, however, a few opportunities exist: *Friendlier staff *Menu available before customers get to the counter *Lower the prices! Doesn't matter how premium a product might be, Leopold's could lower their prices since they do such a high volume of sales and still make tons of $$$.
