Sorry, no pics. If I could 4.5 Leopold's, I would. Ice cream was good, we had a group who got some, I specifically got the Ice Cream Sandwich, with cookie dough in between Chocolate Chip cookies. It was as messy and awesome as you can imagine, go big or go home! I did both since we were in an airport, and I was on my way home. So why not a 5 star? Leopold's Ice Cream in the city center always has a long queue. I'm staying in Pooler, and this time I wasn't flying, so I took my daughter to the store inside the airport to try the ice cream we'd been craving. I ordered Tutti Frutti, and my daughter ordered Pistachio. Yes, I took pictures of all the flavors :)

Peanut Butter Chippy is REALLY good! Decided to take a break from the endless waiting at Hertz and pleasantly surprised by the delicious ice cream 😋

Leopold's Ice Cream at the airport is a favorite spot in Savannah. Be prepared to wait in line, but the wait even in the heat of Summer is worth it. The ice cream is the best tasted in a long time, not overly sweet and with a natural taste. Lots of flavors to sample and choose from, including seasonal rotations. Highly recommended flavors are the pistachio, honey almond, and girl scout thin mints. The pistachio is a favorite and the best ever tasted, though it has a lot of chunks of pistachios. The butter pecan is surprisingly good, rich and buttery with toasted pecans. The Sakura has a slight tinge of cherry. The Savanah Socialite is great for chocolate lovers. The coffee ice cream is hands down the best. The Tutti Frutti is enjoyable, but a full serving might be too much. The banana flavor was disappointingly not fresh tasting, a bit chemically. The decor is movie posters and an old jukebox. The airport location is relatively line-free. Single and double cups are insanely huge. The staff could use some improvement in people and social skills.
