“I've been dreaming of their scallops for 3.5 years now since the last time we came. Food is always impeccable, and the jazz is wonderful. This is one of our few restaurants that you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Always excellent. Service is wonderful as well.“
“We just had another outstanding dinner at Charlie’sWe came early to secure a seat at the bar. The two gentlemen who man the bar are wonderful, professional and kind. They make the experience even better. I ordered the soft shell crab that was prepared fried. I asked if the chef could sauté it and it was no problem. Absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to return!“
“I’m giving five stars because of Bailey! He was one of the best servers I’ve ever had! He took pictures for us was very attentive continuously refilling our glasses. He was the type of person you met and they love their job. Honestly a joy to meet him! The food was decent but I do feel the prices were a little high for the quality of the food. But the atmosphere and view definitely made up for it! We even saw dolphins while eating. I will be back!“
“Top notch as always. This is one of the best dining experiences in the entire Hilton Head/Bluffton area. The menu is relatively limited in terms of number of selections, but the nightly specials are usually pretty compelling and in fact all four of our party got specials on the evening (the women got the fish, the men got the veal tomahawks.) Everything was terrific, and the service was on point as well. It's a little too spendy to be an every-week restaurant (for most of us at least), but it's always a treat and we will be back again in the not-too-distant future.“
“We dined at Links to celebrate our son’s and daughter in law’s birthdays. Our server Syleshia was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and food preparation. Syleshia is very entertaining. Were we to visit the Links again, we would definitely ask for her to serve us “
“The best BBQ spot on the Island. My family's been coming to HHI for 11 years straight on family vacation and we eat here every year! Wings are awesome and so are the ribs! They are pretty busy on the weekend nights so the wait could be a little while but we'll worth it.“
“Met friends for brunch on the way off the island. It was all very good. Rather than go with a main and two sides, we each created our own brunch plate by combining sides. Everything was artfully conceived and created, with the flavors melding nicely. The space is rather small, so the four of us ended up at a communal table with another group of four, but with an open seat between us on both sides. That could have been a little tight with 10 at the table, but it worked out just fine. Pleasant space, though, for being small.“
“I highly recommend this ice cream shop. There are so many choices to select from. The ice cream is the best I have ever eaten. Four trips this week. Trying to decide which flavor to try tomorrow. And the service is outstanding. I am giving this place five bravos. (Stars)“
“The food and service here has always been really good over the years. The restaurant itself has a really cool atmosphere. I've sat inside and out on the waterside deck which offers some really nice views for dinner. This last visit, we booked a reservation for an early 4pm dinner for 10 people. We ordered a couple dozen raw oysters and some oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer. They brought out two baskets of warm hush puppies as well. Both types of oysters were awesome.I had the 1/2lb shrimp lowcountry boil. The shrimp comes with the shells, so there was a lot of work to peel the shrimp and even a 1/2lb of shrimp was too much for me to eat with the potatoes, sausage, and corn that came with it. It's not like other boils where the items were doused in butter and Cajun seasoning. This dish seemed like the items were boiled in plain water, then put in a dish with a light amount of Cajun sprinkled on top. I put some butter and salt on everything just to give it some more flavor. My husband got the shrimp Alfredo and that was amazing. I'd probably get that the next time. We also tried the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes which were really delicious. The service was good. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. All the orders for such a large group came out correct with no issues.“
“I first saw Stu's on TripAdvisor. It was hard to find with GPS but just remember it is on the street side of Piggly Wiggly. It was worth the search. We bought 4 subs and a Taco. They were all amazing! This will be a go to in the future for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner on our holidays on Hilton Head Island.“
“Ribeye was perfect! Lobster excellent. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere (dark and woody like all good Irish pubs). Excellent food, excellent service.Reservations recommended for Monday Lobster. You have to reserve the lobster when you make the reservation. Shout out to Selena, our excellent waitress!“
“Fishcamp is a great little seafood spot in Hilton Head! The restaurant is small and it’s not very conveniently located, but it is absolutely worth the effort! Everything we got was delicious, and it’s location on Broad Creek is very scenic. I would especially recommend the jalapeño hushpuppies and the shrimp and polenta!“
“I bought a gift certificate for my boyfriend and he just told me that he redeemed it with his sister and her husband today, having an early dinner which featured a robust selection discounted off dinner menu prices. The Cobb Salad, Chicken Marsala and Pork Snitzel and potatoes were all delicious as were the side Cesaer Salad and other sides. Great good, atmosphere and excellent service from Lauren! I thought it was especially nice that she read my birthday message and gave him a cannoli to share with his guests. They highly recommended Frankie Bones in Hilton Head.“
“The food was BOMB! The server (also a bartender) Derek was awesome. We got the sampler lobster (banging) Shrimp Scampi (banging), scallops (banging) lamb chops (to die for) Spinach and asparagus (amazing) scallop potatoes (bomb) mashed potatoes a little bland. Overall experience was 11 out of 10.“
“The River House is a luxurious and beautiful venue with Lowcountry charm - wonderful ambiance! We enjoyed four fabulous courses, beginning with the Hamachi, and the Yellowfin Tuna Duo, on to the Lobster Bisque and Wedge Salad, and on to the Rainbow Trout and the A5 Wagyu. We finished up with the C4 (essentially, Death by Chocolate). It was all excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Wagyu, which, while only 2 ounces, was a taste sensation with its Yakiniku sauce. We completed the evening with a nightcap in the Hush Speakeasy in the basement. We had a wonderful evening and will soon return!“
“Celeste is one of our favorite restaurants when visiting from Los Angeles. The food is creative and beautifully presented while maintaining the Coastal flavors and features. The servers are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We love the upscale ambience which provides the palette for a memorable evening.“
“Top notch experience last night at Truffles Cafe. The interior of the restaurant is just gorgeous, with an upscale, sophisticated feel. In spite of that, we felt perfectly comfortable in our casual attire. Our server, while new in his role, got everything right. He was cheerful, attentive, offered great suggestions and made our experience overall a memorable one. Our drinks (Paloma and Martini) were a lovely way to start off the meal. Shortly after warm bread with garlic chive butter arrived at the table, our starter of Baked Brie followed. It was baked in a flaky, turnover-style pastry crust, dotted with Kahlua-soaked pecans, and served with toasted baguette slices. Our entrees (Crab Cake and Grilled Ahi Tuna) were delicious and cooked to perfection. We wrapped up our meal with a shared slice of Key Lime pie - a decadently scrumptious finish. All of the staff here were friendly and helpful. We could not be more pleased and would definitely visit again if we return to Hilton Head. One tip for anyone who wants to make a visit to Truffles Cafe and is NOT staying on the island. There is a $9 entrance fee at the gate to enter the island and you’ll need to be prepared to pay that to enter and visit the restaurant. Thanks so much for the lovely meal and service! Would highly recommend.“
“Typical Japanese/sushi restaurant. I had a regular sushi entree it was good and well presented. My wife had the shrimp tempura appetizer. It was excellent. I will definitely revisit when I visit Hilton Head in the future. Next time I will try their ramen bowl.“
“This place is phenomenal. We sat right next to the band which I was worried would be too loud but it was spectacular. Ear Candy is a band with 3 incredibly talented musicians, these people are world class. The service was fun and friendly. The food is outstanding. We had the crab stuffed oysters and the Northern special. Both were delicious. Our drinks were perfect. Our peach dessert was to die for and our guests enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate dessert. You have got to try this place. We will be back.“
“We had dinner at LULU's twice during our stay on HHI in March. Both times the food was exceptional. We tried the peach BBQ salmon dish, the Pan Roasted halibut, the Bouillabaisse, and the Bone-in pork chop. My wife is still raving about the Bouillabaisse! As for me, I just can't pick a favorite as they all were great. The service was excellent too. We had Taima, also know as T, for our server, She was awesome. She knew the menu very well and has a great personality. Already looking forward to our next trip to HHI and dining at LULU kitchen. The prices are very reasonable for HHI, no issues with the prices.“
“Tucked into one of the many business centers in Bluffton, this little gem is serving some seriously good food. At capacity this place won't feel crowded with options to sit at a table, the bar, or outside. Lots of tvs above the bar to watch the game while putting away some really good southern classics. We started with the fried pickles & ranch, then went all-in on the cheesesteak & spicy chicken sandwiches with fries. All incredible, all huge portions. Took home an assortment of oreo, key lime, cherry & white chocolate mini cheesecakes... which were also incredible.Well be back to try more from this menu. Food was delicious, prices were very reasonable, service was great!“
“Best meal I have had down here yet. By a long shot…the shrimp and grits?!? Stupid good. The pimento cheese dip? Seriously. It’s just above anything else. Service was prompt. We sat outside under a large canopy/tent/umbrella. Fun vibe. Would absolutely come back again. Maybe even tomorrow…!Wheelchair accessibility: Not bad. They have a side gate to get in which is a bit gentler ramp than the one on the main entrance.“
“I grew up in Minnesota, moved to Kentucky for 23 years and found out what a joy biscuits and sausage gravy are for breakfast. I have been in Pennsylvania for 20 years and really missed a good southern breakfast. Went here for the first time even though I have coming down to HHI for 40 years. I cannot express enough the joy of our breakfast at Squat & Gobble. EVERYTHING was delicious. These guys know how to cook. Best country fried steak, sausage gravy, and the lightest fluffiest biscuit I have ever had. Service was phenomenal! Quick and everyone so nice. Anybody in the area has to take this in. You guys are the greatest.“
“Updated April, 2024. Food and prices are great. Service is good. We ate here twice during our HHI stay. The first time we ate outside, there was no live music, and it was very enjoyable. The second time we came was on a weekend. The live music seemed very loud outside (had to yell to talk to the receptionist), so we opted to be seated inside. Unfortunately, with all hard surfaces inside, it was incredibly loud inside as well. Go when there is no live entertainment and sit outside.“
“I really liked the bar food vibe of this place. We went on a Saturday early evening and our group thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The deviled eggs with 'chicharron' you simply have to try. I had a salad with southern fried chicken breast for protein, simply moist and yet crunchy. Others in the party drooled and ranted about the seafood Mac n cheese with ditalini pasta. So decadent. Another must have.“
“We had a great time celebrating a birthday! Our group was large with kids and adults. We were able to make a reservation that day, and followed up with the phone call to change it from 6 to 8, no problem. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. There was a band playing covers of 80s music, I bet I’m allowed side, but added to a celebratory dinner.Parking: Full lot!“
“I almost don't want to write this review as I am afraid of it getting too popular! This is the best breakfast and lunch in the low country. Pancakes to die for, coffee for the conessieur, and bacon perfectly cooked. The chicken salad BLT wrap with a side of homemade potato salad was amazing. Great service and reasonable prices make this a go-to stop again and again!Kid-friendliness: Made a smiley face out of eggs and bacon at the personal request of my 5 year old.“
“Took our daughter's family for dinner which is first time we took young ones here. I do not recommend as they have no kids menu and the options are severely limited. We opted for the chicken and waffles, but the boys did not like the chicken much as it was spicier than they like. Plenty of portions but they did not eat much. My prime rib was a bit overcooked and not a middle cut, a lot of waste on the cut. Everything else was really good, drinks, appetizers (oysters), and other dishes. For family meal, this is not a good option and very expensive. We do love coming here with adult couples.“
“This is two reviews -- breakfast and dinner. First, to truly appreciate the atmosphere and vibe of this place -- go for breakfast. I got the southern breakfast, and the eggs were perfect, bacon was delicious, and that big chunk of biscuit was spot on. Our server made me a killer vanilla latte. My wife's biscuits and gravy were very good. For dinner, we both got chicken tenders and fried shrimp, with fry chips. Unbelievable. Best chicken tenders I've ever had. Whole meal was scrumptious.I got a flight of their own beers -- pretty good.At dinner time, that place is LOUD. When the screamers got their meals, it quieted down a bit. And hey -- get rid of those fake lemon trees...“
“Talk about a rockstar owner. Team there is hilarious, friendly, and the food is incredible. Came in here with my sister and my to-be brother-in-law over the Christmas holiday. Our experience here was one of the top highlights of our vacation. I've got one piece of advice to future patrons: get. the. ramen.Go Birds!!!“
“We had a party of 9 and really enjoyed our dinners. Spicy fried chicken, fried shrimp and chicken and dumplings were all really tasty. The sides were very good as well. BYO wine. Nothing fancy atmosphere wise but just good southern food. Thanks for a great night!“
“We went to a family lunch to celebrate the birthday of my sister-in-law. Since we are originally from Buffalo, you can imagine how much we enjoy R Bar. There are all the foods we are accustomed to from our hometown. There was a very pleasant and courteous waiter at our table. In spite of the fact that he entered all of our orders correctly, there was a little mishap in the kitchen between mine and my sister-in-law's sandwich. We swapped what we could between her order and mine so they would not have to remake my sandwich and she would simply need a new one. Upon explaining what we had done, a lady in a Pittsburgh Penguins shirt emerged from the back abruptly asking in a rude tone, "tell me what is wrong with this sandwich". She replied, "Well it's already half eaten," while she touched with her bare naked hands, expecting my pregnant sister-in-law to take it back. Please note that it was not half eaten, I still had the other part on my plate, and she indicated that she required it back in order to prepare a completely new sandwich. In an effort to appease such a miserable soul, I politely returned the half of chicken finger to her. As a result of our further discussion, she took her poor attitude back to the kitchen and remade the sandwich. As a result of this lady's poor attitude regarding an issue her kitchen staff had created, we were all very uncomfortable. It would be prudent for her to consider other careers if a messed up sandwich has the potential to make her that angry.“
“First impressions of First Watch are lasting positive impressions. We were in a layover at the airport and decided to meet family for a quick late brunch. We Uber(ed) over from the airport to meet family who also used Uber. Greeted at entrance where hostesses offered to store our bags until we would depart. Loved this. Seated in an open area with a view of the preparation area, many diners enjoying the atmosphere and flights (the process of sampling/tasting wines). Wait staff was patient and attentive as we caught up with family member stories. Wine servings were pricey but refreshing. Nice menu selections that were tasty and original. The restaurant clients were clearly having a great time at the this venue. Before we headed back to the airport we moved to the rooftop for an exhilarating view of Nashville and we’re not disappointed. First Watch is a check it out spot you won’t want to pass up!“
“A regular location for us. Sydney was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Also met Colin. Cared about our experience and we enjoyed meeting him. As always, food was excellent. We thought the salmon could have used a little bit of garnishing to improve the presentation. The potato leek soup was a nice starter. The bourbon bread pudding was outstanding.“
“Dined at lunch. Had the Asian influenced salad. Husband had fish and chips. Started with shrimp app at recommendation of server. It was delicious with 6 large shrimp. Broth it was in was like a delicious soup. Yummy to dip the bread in too. Most impressive atmosphere too. Beautiful instaworthy surroundings IMO. Try to get one of the 2 top tables along the right side with large leather armchairs if you are a party of 2! Loved it! Would go again and definitely recommend. See pictures attached for what we ordered.“
“When you need a low key breakfast, this is the way to go! Our server greeted us with a warm welcome and hot coffee. When our meal arrived, it was tough to be patient to allow the phone to "eat" first. We enjoyed every morsel we could. The hearty portions gave us a great start to the day.“
“Let me start by saying it's a good place, the food is fair. Our issue was with the server that day. He brought the wrong order, forgot the silverware, nobody was outside for a while to take the order and then waited for him to come back so we could ask for the check. He was very friendly but his mind was not on it. That's the reason for the ⭐⭐⭐⭐Vegetarian options: They r not labeled but you can find some dishes that could work for you as vegetarian“
“The food was okay. The wait to sitdown was long but seems like they were shortstaffed. The waiter was coo and my drink nice and strong so kudos to him!. I had the braised potroast and it was decent. The flavor was sweeter than Im used to. Id go here again but Id try something else.“
“The service was amazing and the food was even better. The portion sizes are more than enough. We had to get carry our containers. The hubby had the veal and I had the shrimp and pesto pasta. We will definitely eat here again. We were in town for a quick weekend getaway.“
“4.5⭐️ Great service and good food. Super knowledgeable and kind waiter, Oz. He even called to let us know we left our credit card. Had beet salad to start with and braised short rib. Husband had fried chicken. Options are a bit heavy overall but it is southern style cooking!“
“Sunday my daughter took me there before church. What an amazing place. Fantastic food and Omar the owner works with his staff and cranks out the quality best food quickly. Prices are very fair.Great job !Roy M. ( Banana’s)Hobe Sound FL.Parking: Good parking“
“This place has amazing smash burgers! Overall: excellent, quick, and friendly service, tasty food with good prices, and a nice location with outdoor seating available. They also have ice cream which is a big plus!I definitely recommend eating here for lunch or dinner!“
“I've eaten here many times and it's always great. Last night I ordered the ribeye. I like my steak rare and it was RARE. I couldn't finish it due to the size not the temperature. I just ate the leftovers for lunch and I swear... It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. He must be buying high quality meats. The steak was better than anything I can buy at the butcher but I didn't have to cook it and it came with bread, salad and fries for $30. Get outta here. The drinks were great and the bartender was very nice. And nice looking. The owner came over and asked me if everything was good. On a Sunday night he was working quality control.... I highly recommend.“
“Best food, best bartenders, and the best people. I will 100% upload pictures of my food at some point. If you want good food this is the place to go. Don’t let the fact that it’s a bar fool you, it has and has had the best cooks on WilmingtonParking: Free parking around the complex“
“Carbon copy of Disney. Which is to say the food, service and atmosphere is exactly what you would find in the theme parks in Florida and California. Dole whips (pineapple only) along with the beignets are straight from Disney world. Always the same friendly customer service. You feel like you're in Disney.“
“Roy and his staff went above and beyond to create an amazing private rehearsal dinner for us! The portions were large, the taste was out of this world and the chef was AMAZING! From the first phone call Roy was pleasant, kind and accommodating to all of our desires! He was always available and so helpful with us being so many states away. No one left hungry and people are still talking about how delicious the food was weeks later!!! We can't thank you enough for making our special evening even that more special and delicious!!! A must for any event you have - can't wait to use Roy and his company again when we visit South Carolina!!!! Xo“
“The waitress was so sweet and fun! Everything was cooked very well, portion sizes are perfect. Really cute little place with a homey feel. I had a big breakfast with blueberry pancakes and my boyfriend had a 2 egg breakfast. No complaints at all about the good. We ended up buying T shirts because we loved the place so much! Wonderful staff and I can't say that enough!“
“Fun menu! Delicious sandwiches, made with care. No gluten free options (other than salad) just FYIDietary restrictions: No gluten free options for sandwichesKid-friendliness: Kid friendly options and vibeWheelchair accessibility: Accessible with a helper“
“WOW is all I have to say. We were visiting Tybee Island from Arizona and say this place on maps and decided to give it a try. The entrance is a little sketchy and doesn’t look like a restaurant but do not let that deter you. The restaurant and patio seating is actually huge. We sat on the patio with our dog and the view was amazing. For food I would 1000% recommend the sweet potato fries. The cinnamon butter they come with is out of this world. I will have to go back to Tybee Island just for those fries. I also had the crab burger and it was delicious. The sauce it comes with is so flavorful. Top tier service. I cannot say enough good things about this place.“
“Breakfast is outstanding! I got the scramble and it was huge! The mushrooms were particularly tasty. My companion got the Benedict and loved it. We grabbed a sack lunch on our way out and the chicken salad sandwiches were delicious. Plus, the chefs gave us some fresh baked chips that were the perfect salty compliment to the sandwich. Really looking forward to lunch tomorrow...“
