Awesome place for friends and family to meet and have a great meal
My family and I attempted to dine at Main Street Island Pub this past week. We had a horrible experience with the host from the moment we walked through the door. He did not great us and only asked us “do you have reservations?” Keep in mind the restaurant was half empty. The after complaining about placing to high top table together, he lecture us on how to properly sit in a chair and keep an aisle cleared for foot traffic. Specific meals like the Salmon with Puttanesca sauce, Steak Pizzaoli, Lobster full dinner, Sheppards pie, walking tacos, Gyro Wrap, Rueben, and the Parmesan crusted grouper special are all described as amazing, fabulous, exceptional, and outstanding. The staff is wonderful, hospitable, and patient, providing great and outstanding service. The decor is very unique. The pub offers plenty of parking and is a favorite hangout spot, perfect for celebrations or a quick lunch. Everything on the menu will not disappoint.
