“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.“

My table I love is always waiting where from the moment we sit down, my husband and I together or when I pop in unexpectedly on a Saturday when I come to our Fripp ocean honey are just so thankful.. The fresh food makes me feel like we are home in Southern California and the deserts well, let's just say, I skip the salad after the entree each time as Megan always makes fresh coffee as I sip the last of my chardonnay and Alden enjoys the last of his cabernet.. “William Green; the owner of this small home-style "Gullah Cooking cuisine" restaurant, let us (party of 8) in after closing early due to poor weather. The hospitality he greeted us with was as if he had never closed the restaurant. This kind, generous man welcomed us into his local-art-stocked room. Mr. Green was the only worker in the place at this time. He took our order with impeccable accuracy, went back to the kitchen, and prepared the comfort food himself. Surprisingly, he arrived with the food 20 minutes after the order was placed. The stories he told us of his fishing and hunting excursions are spiritual connections I will carry for a lifetime. This man is truly God-sent, and if you're ever in South Carolina, I recommend this place "Gullah Grub", to anyone in the area. He will treat you with upmost respect and courtesy and he will give you his best! God Bless this man and his family!!“

“Old Bull Tavern is wonderful! Katie was our server and she was very friendly, helpful and attentive! Our meals were excellent. We shared the Winemakers Salad which was huge and very fresh! The Madrileno Pizza was awesome… the Iberico ham was indeed the star and truly complimented the pizza. The Ricotta Gnocchi with Shrimp was very good, shrimp cooked perfectly. We definitely order it all over again. We ended with the much recommended Tiramisu! It did not disappoint!! My favorite Tiramisu ever! We highly recommend Old Bull Tavern and make reservations as it fills up quickly!“

“We dined here for family night and our group had a great time. The inside was very pretty and decorated nicely for the Christmas holiday. Staff was friendly. Beers were cold. Food was very good too!! Stroganoff, pilaf, chicken/sausage gumbo, steamed veggies, dinner rolls, lots of dessert choices.“

“Beautiful Oceanview and watched dolphins play for long periods of time from our deck.Parked the car and cover the whole island by golf cart the whole week.several pools to enjoy including adult pool (very peaceful)and many beach accesses to explore.Freeing newly hatched sea turtles in the evening. Very good food on island andoff the island. Lots of deer that will even come up to your golf cart.Two beautiful golf courses, Would highly recommend checking this out with friends and family!“

“Austin at the fillin’ station goes above and beyond for his customers! I lost my shoe over the edge of the deck while having an afternoon refreshment. After my hysterical laughter drew his attention, he came to the rescue and retrieved my shoe from the marsh! We already love The fillin’ station, but he just added another reason to the list!“

“I live in Michigan and whenever I come home, I get my shrimp and grits. Not only do I get mine, I get several orders, freeze them and take them back to Michigan. I’ve eaten shrimp & grits in a lot of places, but theirs is TRULY the best shrimp & grits I’ve ever had.“

The food it pretty good, the staff are very nice, and its very hospitable. My only complaints is that some of the prices are a bit much for the quality of the food. Otherwise, we have had a great time! Please visit this place whenever you can!“
